Re: Coronavirus outbreak

As with all things on Hobnob I think we need a poll to settle it.

How many people do you know that have had it and how many do you know that got hospitalised?

(6-0 for me)

Re: Coronavirus outbreak

I can only talk clearly about Japan, so until recently anyone entering the country had go into 14 days quarantine and to do that they had to have a place to stay here and had to have pre-arranged non-public transport to take them to their place of quarantine. If they did not have that then they wer...

Re: Coronavirus outbreak

I think that's because the counts are added up as Scottish and Welsh counts come separately before England.

Re: Coronavirus outbreak

Of course with the herd-immunity the point is that 60% people who are very low risk get it. So it won’t be anything like 1% death rate that it would be for the entire population Whether it works out like that is a different matter of course Understood, but what happens when the OAPs emerge from the...

Re: BFTG Sheff U FB

Due to a shambles on the bus I missed the first goal. Got in the queue at 7:10 and they must of been short of buses as they were only loading 2 at a time. At 7:30 they decided just to load without paying, ours went first but the driver decided not to use the bus lane so we saw 4 other later buses pa...

I took a picture of the west stand, pretty sparsely populated. This is what we've become with this abject home form.

Re: BFT well I don’t know what to call it without resorting to a lot of naughty words

We were a shambles

If ever there was a performance to get rid of a manager this was it. We were totally outplayed.

I left long before the third goal. We have the worst home record in the league.

Roll on, or roll over for Barnsley.

Re: STAR's RFC Hall of Fame 2020

Surely Baz Savage has to moonwalk on to collect his.

It sounds like STAR have already decided who is getting the awards, I assume you're not looking for a HNA? poll to add some more?

(Jimmy Kebe would win!)

Re: Leeds (A) Saturday February 22nd

Hendo Looks like around 700 sold, which to be totally honest isn't terrible.

That is indeed terrible as it validates their ridiculous pricing. If it were £30 we'd of had to have sold over 900 which we probably wouldn't

We really need to take fewer to 300 to send a message to the money grabbing oxf*rd

Re: BFTG Hull.

That was a terrible result against a team that came for a 0-0 and somehow after going behind fluked a deflected goal.

We weren't great but Hull were dire and we really should be beating teams like this.

I have to ask what does Aluko add and how does he get on ahead of Puscas.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Hull City (h) sponsored by Billy Whitehurst

I'm still seething about the goal they scored in 2012, the ball was played through to a player who was way offside. He goes for the ball and everyone expects the whistle to blow. Just as he gets there he doesn't touch the ball and his colleague who was onside collects the ball and scores. There was ...

Re: BFTG Cardiff Home

BBC highlights of the game are disappointing, a lot of shots from Cardiff going wide or over, but failed to show Meite's one on one or the offside goal. Stil lol at Bamba's miss.

BFTG Cardiff Home

Overall a pretty decent result against a pretty strong Cardiff side. It's a pity we didn't have a stronger bench or we could have won this. Their goal was pretty much their only attack in the first half, and we were playing really well. The equaliser was deserved but looked a mile offside, I guess t...

Top post Papes.

Makes my prematch at the Market Porter look a bit lame. I did manage to down some of Maria's bubble on the way to London Bridge.

BFTG Millwall Away

We weren't very good. Millwall worked hard to stop up playing and the game looked to be headed for 0-0. They get a lucky deflection from a corner, the rub salt into the wound with a breakaway goal following a clear foul we didn't get. We had one chance all game that Swift hit over the top. We offere...

Of the youngsters I thought Howe was pretty decent, Olise Ok and Burley poor.

Still not sure about Loader, there's something about him but apart from the goals - and this one was something special - he does little else.

Re: BFTG - Derby

I thought we made hard work of a game that should have been over after the sending off. We looked quite fragile until the second went in. All credit to derby that made us work hard for the points. Shout out to meeting Maguire post match, who oddly remembered us meeting at Leicester away at the Count...
