definately a game for the defenders. I think the long break created a little apathy on both sides. Pretty dull and no-one to blame for anything in particular (though harps disappeared again in the 2nd half). 0-0 job done

Agreed, can't wait to see him back on the pitch at full strength. If he ever gets fully fit again. I dont understand why someone would slag Bobby off after what he did last season?? He was superb last year. I wasn't slagging him off Just pointing out that we're assuming he will get back to ...

Was too young to remember. My footy memory is awful. I had to ask the guy I go to matches with whether we'd beaten Man City ealier in the season!! All footbal games meld into one for me and I can't hold them in my head. Yet a Blades-supporting mate can remember eveything that happened in every game ...

The way their weakened...

The 17 Bus still dont think CB is best place for him tho.

Agreed.

saturday he displayed a good range of passing and some excellent ball control when playing it out of defense. I think he'd be better as a defensive midfielder myself

Bring in Oster for Hunt and Bryn for Sidwell. bryn for harper and its a goodun Harps is our most important player, he makes the team tick. does he hell. He runs around, doesn't tackle and backs-off midfield runners. He's had a few good games this season but the arguments about Harps are the same as...

I'd say I was disappointed rather than anything else, although I did manage to get a ticket in the end. Can't say I noticed any empty seats round me - probably needed to see the end from elsewhere in the ground to spot it. I was high-up behind the goal so could only see the away fans in the corner,...

Bikey appears slow from a standing start and then has to flounder. Contrast that with Harper's energy and running. When Arsenal broke away for their second goal and Baptista muscled Murts (arguably a foul), who had run the full length of the pitch and was almost in a position to cover? Harper! If t...

his tacking and ball control are getting better by the day though. Yesterday he made some great challenges and rather than hoof the ball then played it around people and made some great passes. Has the potential to be a good, ball-playing defender //but you're right, he still very 'grabby' with the ...

I thought playing James "can't tackle and will back off giving the other team free run of our midfield" Harper against a team like arsenal was a mistake from the start. I've been moaning for a few seasons that Harper can never be considered a defensive midfielder. The only time I thought h...

You're kidding right??

Loud from start up until we got the 1st. After that I hardly heard a peep from my end (apart from the City and Shearer chants)

Cemy Junction Expat Likewise the 5 live host (paraphrased again): "what a performance ... what a fightback .. what a season Reading are having"

Don't forget the 5live host's comment of "Reading probably deserve an award for services to football for what they've done this season"
