As I said once before, DLC is just the kind of man people should look up to. Rather than the more talented, but infinitely flawed individuals that get hero worshipped instead. Shame on us.

Yes you are entitled to your own opinions, but please feed your own mind. You have already stated that you didn't know the man, and have only heard about him from your family. That tells us a lot. The fact I can't remember seeing him play along with the fact my family couldn't stand the man and had...

No beliefs involved, no agendas. Simply very bored by someone hijacking a thread to yet again talk about his drinking habits when all people were interested in was seeing him play. No thread hijacking involved. Simply making a statement, if someone wants to pick it up and run with it, its entirely ...

Seal repeating the same thing over and over gets a bit boring.

What you mean is "repeating something that is anathema to our beliefs". Because of course there is no repitition in the endless threads about how amazing he was and how we should all be proud

It really does get very boring when every time some mentions Robin Friday you pop up telling us what a horrible person he was. Well next time entitle the thread "Robin Friday W*nk-Off Thread - No Other Opinions Allowed". I put in one line which sums up my feelings about him. No-one has to...

Of course you're entitled to your opinion. I just think that calling someone's dead father a 'nasty little pikey waster' (when you didn't even know the guy) is a little harsh. That's all. Unfortunately if you speak to people that were around at the time, that is exactly what he was. . which people?...

He was a nasty, little pikey waster. Yes he had buckets of talent but he doesn't deserve the worship What a lovely thing to say about someone who is dead, on a website that his family read. Nice one. Why should I hide my feelings about someone I care nothing for, who was responsible for destroying ...

I don't know what's worse SDR, the fact you've been arsed to spend the day taking the mick out of the 'yoof' or the fact that you do actually know how to write like that

If anything, the fact this is being dsicussed speaks volumes about just how good Iva is.

Quiet & calam, he's obviously great to play next to and is the perfect foil for the big, bruising, rash centre-backs that are Sonks & Bikey.

Says a lot if you ask me.

And agree with RR about Lita. Great first-time shooter, but today he had the first touch of a 7-year old girl and at times its embarrassingly amateur

I thought he was incredibly slow when he scored that goal against Millwall.... Granted....Which made me wonder why towards the end of last season and the beginning of this, just why he never seemed to beat his man anymore. Much the play between him and shorey was to engineer a cross (usually from S...

Convey. Hunt has done a great job since coming into the first team but he cant cross the ball as well and lacks that burst of pace Convey has. Is that a joke?? My one issues with convey has always been his lack of pace!! (*especially for someone called the Philadelphia Flyer*). He is more c...

Royal Rother Keith Curle did not get sent off so I'm afraid that was not exactly what happened at all.

Ok, I got it wrong about Curle being set off.

He did however get charged. The club had 6 charges against them i believe. As did Warnock iirc. Neither proof of guilt or innocence though

whats the deal with Kennys' private life then? His wife was shagging his mate (and best man at their wedding). Paddy Kenny has always been an awsome keeper. He has always been negatively judged because of his waistline. Were he to have a different stature he would have been in the prem years ago

readingbedding So the pitch must have affected our performance in the 2nd half?

No, thought not.

Shocking pitch.

Just because we played well and won doesnt mean pitch was perfect.

We usually play the ball into channels, hence why the really crap areas didn't affect us that much

Not shocking at all.
Over-reaction.

Suppose it's fine if you want to play hoofball. But the ball repeatedly got slowed down when passed across field. That is shocking for a premiership pitch when there isn't standing water around

I must admit I was expecting things to look a lot worse than they did yesterday, given all the talk about the pitch. I thought the ball ran true and it didn't cut up very much. OK there was a few spots of sand around the technical areas, but the pitch itself looked OK and a heck of a lot more green...
