Re: QPR points deduction?

lying is obviously wrong but we are hardly the first club to inflate a transfer fee, we deserve a fine for the two rules we've broken but did nothing to warrant a points deduction that so many think we've got away with. the fa saying the charges were not proven is their way of saving a bit of face a...

Re: QPR points deduction?

so as we got good lawyers in we must be guilty? Very odd, we didn't cheat we won the league fair and square. the issue the fa had was that the club claimed we paid £3.5million for Faurlin but on the paperwork it said we paid £600k. After we paid off the thid party as agreed with the fa last Septembe...

Re: QPR points deduction?

no precedent has been set, we were found not guilty. The agent fine is the same as what lees and Bristol City got for the same offence

67 pages for a not guilty. tee hee

Enjoy the playoffs, I genuinely hope you beat cardiff, hopefully see you next season

Re: QPR points deduction?

talk is that they are going to come to a verdict on Thursday now rather than friday. rumours are at the moment that the FA have based the whole case on the clubs official site saying we spent £3.5million on Faurlin when he actually only cost £600k. I'm not sure how true that is but would be a bit fa...

Re: QPR points deduction?

Just playing devil's advocate here, is there much difference between Fourlin being partly-or-wholly owned by a third-party in Argentina and Craig Bellamy being wholly owned by a third-party in Manchester? not in principal as that third party can influence another clubs results and stop that player ...

Re: QPR points deduction?

To be honest with you Dave, You have obviously been the best team in the league this year and maybe harsh for you not to go up. But rules are rules and you could argue that by falsifying the documents the club have committed fraud of major proportions when considered the money that the club now sta...

Re: QPR points deduction?

9 posts - and been monitoring the board previously, waiting to see if anyone started a 37 page thread on QPR and a possible points deduction? How odd. I've never wasted my time arguing on another club's forum or indeed monitoring it to see if they mention Reading! :| yeah i've been watching the sit...

Re: QPR points deduction?

yeah the falsifying documents would appear the most serious of the charges and is the one that I think would get us a points deduction if we are guilty but no one really knows what the fa feel we lied about, could be the fee, could be the agents name, could be what we paid the club, could be the da...

Re: QPR points deduction?

i saw the 37 page thread on QPR and thought it was worth offering another side to the story rather than the hysteria that was being whipped up. But it seems more and more that the "hysteria" is likely to be the reality of the situation. Where does that leave the other side of the story? n...

Re: QPR points deduction?

always been worried about it but I've always been of the opinion we are innocent until proven guilty and I'm not sure what has happened warrants a points deduction when you look at the facts of the case rather than looking at what hapepend to Luton and others with compltly different charges. You ca...

Re: QPR points deduction?

Lutons unlicensed agent points deduction is not a precedent, palios was wrong on that. Bristol City were fined around 60k for using an unlicensed agent last year, the Luton case over 6 different agents, the QPR one the agent was licensed with FIFA but not with the FA at the time, that will probably ...

Re: QPR points deduction?

no one walked off as soon as Norwich scored, 6 clear of 3rd with 2 to play it's as good as over anyway so was worth celebrating LOL. no. its time to cenlebrate when you actually achieve something. and it was still a nice comedic interlude to my saturday afternoon. will you even be allowed on the pi...

Re: QPR points deduction?

I didn't actually say we hadn't broken any rules or are innocent. Just like all of you I have no idea if we have or haven't broken the rules, we've been charged at the moment which doesn't automatically mean we are guilty or innocent. If we are guilty then it is a very difficult decsion to make and ...

Re: QPR points deduction?

QPR fan here, finding this thread bizarre, 38 pages and counting on this, I'd have thought you would care more about your own team. Anyway how have QPR cheated? Some people seem to be suggesting that Faurlin is not eligible to play, none of the charges are about playing an ineligible player so I'm n...
