Re: Should we start our own Supporters Group to Replace STAR

Really don't understand the gripe people have with STAR. Acts like this (below) is probably why Well I for one will not be renewing...I wouldn't normally discuss the content of a PM, but I've had no response to my reply since I sent it 3 days ago, and need to vent spleen... I had a PM on Friday fro...

Re: England fans "unsettling" Crusader costumes

Classic Guardian piece which proves it has become the reverse Daily Mail: http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2012/jun/12/euro-2012-england-fan-muslim-crusades "As a British Muslim, I am unsettled by the sight of England supporters dressed as Christian knights and jovially waving Crusader ...

Re: SPECULATION - Gylfi on sale for £6m

My opinion is that Reading Football Club are about to engage in their 3rd season as a Premier League club, have won the Championship twice in the last decade, Have their own training ground and are about to get backing from a billionaire Russian family. All of which results in a package that is eas...

Re: SPECULATION - Gylfi on sale for £6m

I think if he was worth more than £7 million someone would come in for him and pay more.
Football scouting networks are extensive, and there must be SOMETHING putting people off bidding that much for him if that is the case.

Re: SPECULATION - Gylfi on sale for £6m

I think people don't understand that we are (hopefully) still going to operate in the Reading way - and the Reading way would dictate that we aren't going to spend £7 million plus wages and agents fees on a player - who is extremely good may i add, as for all we know we could be back down in a years...

Re: RUMOUR - Simon Church

The thing I hate about church, in his first season he looked like a real prospect and someone with real potential, but since then he's been so poor. It is frustrating that someone can finish gaols brilliantly like against Leeds, and then head over an open goal In the centre of the six yard box. When...

Re: Premiership 2012/13

SAFE Fulham Think they are a decent side, decent manager. Safe unless they have major injuries Wigan IF they keep players and manager, should stay up. Can be great on their day West Brom Will depend on who comes in, to some extent, but will be surprised if they are not bottom 8 at best Saints. Thin...

Re: Rumour - Karleigh Osborne

Sky Sports understands a host of clubs are chasing former Brentford defender Karleigh Osborne.

Highly-rated defender Osborne is available on a free transfer after seeing out his contract at Griffin Park.

Could sign him and be like the brand new Sam Sodje!

Re: New England manager

It doesn't help that they all kept getting called Englands 'Golden Generation' when really they've won nothing and are just a bunch of egos who can not play together! Hopefully the media will shut up with all that nonsense now. We all know its completely untrue! We were actually relatively successf...

Re: Back in the Premiership- time to resurrect the Whiff?

Badger Finger I'd even write.

It may not be very good, but I'd do it.

I have some early 00's whiff at work. I let them off slowly like a 3 day old curry fart to my office neighbour who is a Gulls fan. He cries with laughter every time...

I'd do the same. Absolutely LOVE the whiff, it needs

Is Adam Le Fondre good enough?

I think he is a brilliant player and I am pretty sure as part of a 442 with a creative midfielder, he would thrive.
What do the rest of you think?
