Re: BFTG Hull (H)

genome
Binfield Royal 4 defeats in 4 games is relegation form.

That's a bold statement

It's terrible form across a whole season given, but i wonder if Barcelona fans are currently saying the same about their teams form?

Re: Dellor moaning about Vydra again!!!

+1 Nowt wrong with Dellors interview Tim did go a bit mental at the end of the game but if McShane nutting Williams can be excused as ''passion'' and ''two players wanting to win'' so can Dellors frustration. Nothing really wrong with Dellor's interview no, although I think as an interviewer he pro...

Re: Sack The Manager... REALLY?!

Glad to see that some people are in agreement! Let's keep it going with Brian. Give him 3 years at least - see what he can do with that, and then we can make a change if we need it.

Sack The Manager... REALLY?!

I've been a season ticket holder most of my life, and I currently listen, watch and go to games as regularly as my job allows, and I think it's pretty clear to see that Reading are in a slump. However, we were in a slum with Adkins, we were in a slump with Clarke, and we are currently in a slump wit...

Re: Forest Match Thread (H) Sponsored by Steve Stone's stupendous miss

Wouldn't it make a difference when you take into consideration the teams below us, and who everyone is playing? For example, if MK Dons have to play all the teams below us and win all 7, then those teams below us would drop points and therefore possibly not be able to get above us, etc... Not as str...

Re: 4 years ago today

Watching that, did anyone notice how there was someone following up almost ever blocked shot, and people always running in the box.

I really think having people running into the box and taking those risks is what we lack now...

Re: BFTG Brighton

IF you work in Basingstoke AND finish by 5 o'clock. That will narrow it down quite considerably for Reading fans. I know weren't having a pop at those not attending Will, and I can't get the fascination with attendances in general to be honest, just pointing out that for most Brighton on a Tuesday ...

Dislike ex-Reading players

After the return of the useless waste of space and money that was Greg Halford, which other ex-reading players get such a bad reputation at the club and are so disliked? Usually it seems as if we welcome back old faces (even though they inevitably seem to score against us), but there's obviously a s...

Re: Rumour : Orlando Sa

I feel for him. He was isolated and on his own at the start of the season when we were crap, and when we came good he was doing some very good stuff even when he wasn't scoring goals. When we then lost form and changed things around he was isolated again and didnt perform as well - but he definitely...

Looks like he'll be a good signing!
Wonder if this spells the end for some youth midfielders like Aaron Kuhl?

Re: BFTG - Bristol City

Best part of the day was Cooper winning MOTM.... a truely local boy stepping in for billy big bollocks Hector Well done Cooper It is a great story - but too be fair, I don't feel Hector's attitude has changed from last season - he's always been a bit arrogant, and I would still question his sanity ...

Re: SPECULATION - Return of Jem Karacan?

How many times has Jem played in the last few years and put in a genuinely top performance that is worth replacing Williams, Norwood, Tish, Quinn??

We surely don't want all our old players back? Can't we just move on (new manager aside)?

Re: What is the point in HRK

When he plays as a striker, he looks like a winger up front, and when he plays as a winger he looks like a striker on the wing. He's just a little bit useless nowadays! he's lost his pace, his vision and pretty much everything!

Re: Adkins -what next?

What worries me most is that when you consider our squad now in comparison with what we took up to the premier league - it's at a similar level, excluding the loss of a decent centre half (mariappa), and a goal scored in ALF - who I reckon would only be doing similarly as well as Murray is. What's h...

Re: Who Goes Federici or McCarthy??

I think they're both quite similar keepers, other than Feds' terrible start to the prem season. I'd let McCarthy go as I think he is one of the worst distributors of a football I've ever seen! Even worse than when Sonko first signed and just booted it anywhere - at least he often kept it on the pitch!

Re: Rumour - Le Fondre To West Brom or....

Even if we are strapped for cash, selling one of our only recognised strikers seems a bit strange seeing as I doubt we would get anything close to ALF for the money we'd be prepared to spend. Hope this isn't true!
