Re: Goalkeepers

I just think that the team who finished this season seemed to solidify with each other for survival and the younger demographic of the team made it easy for Pereira to come in and settle and form a bond with the team and also with the fans
Reminds me of Federici when he came into the team

Re: FA Cup Changes

The PL are trying to use the sweetener of " oh well we're going to invest £33 million into grassroots football just to make ourselves look like we actually care about anyone outside of the top flight" Having no replays is madness. Lower league/non league side who are lucking enough to make...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

While he didn't give away specifics, my interpersonal of his comments is that this Sports.com bid hasn't provided proof and funding and isn't the one. I suspect that Chiron Sports Group, which has involvement with a previous Charlton director, is the front runner. Howe has been saying that there wa...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Obviously I know that I'd follow a phoenix club but I was surprised when I asked my 12 and 14 yr old if the worst happened would they trek along every weekend to watch us play Combined Counties and they both said it was a no brainer and they'd keep going I think the novelty of being able to go to mo...

Re: Embargos, HMRC Payment defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

And which ground is up to standard that someone would be willing to share or rent to Reading for next to nothing? You're talking about it from a footballing perspective. An administrator need not care about such things. A stadium can be found to complete fixtures as required. I think the FL, not to...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Ever since the Chinese guy came in to buy Reading Gaol I have this recurring nightmare that this is a grand wind up by Yongge that sees the consortium make an offer for the football club and Dai selling to them only to reveal its his long lost son and we're screwed well and truly Its been a long week

Re: The Non - League thread

Went down to Bottom Meadow for the first time in a while to see Bracknell Uninspiring game and a shadow of the team that charged up the league last year but Grant's 80th minute goal gave them the 3 pts 512 gate boosted by BTFC inviting all local Sandhurst FC kids and parents admission for free Resul...
