Re: New manager

IF, its only an if, Coppell does walk in the summer, who seriously could you see coming in? Moreover, who would do it for the wages and with the financial 'constraints'

Re: Coppell's Big Gamble

I grant you we have spent 11 million, but that is for 10 players! 10 million should be for 2 good players, quality players who would walk straight into our team, not 10 players and hope that one of them will work. I thought Cahill was great for Bolton, he should be the sort of player we are busting ...

Re: welcome to Reading FC

It's the manner in which we were rolled over that gets to me. We play well against manure when deep down you know we haven't got much hope, they are bloody good no matter what you might think of them. But it's games where we should be competing, Bolton!!!, that we look shite. They have taken 6 point...

Re: New manager

It's the old thing of who is telling the truth. If money is available, and we are led to beleive that is the case from what we have read, then why are we not signing the players that other teams, your Bolton's, are buying. Cahill and Taylor would walk into our team the same way they walked into Bolt...

Re: New manager

Big Sam is a big twat! He is out of work for a good reason, he is rubbish! Did you ever see his teams play? Long ball rubbish that should not be played in this modern game. He is a championship manager at best, along with Warnock. Sorry, but no. (don't mean to come accross as rude)

Re: RUMOUR - Sidwell to return to Reading

I'd like to see him come back, and put him on the bench. Petty? Yes, but it appeals to my sad sense of humour!

away tickets for fulham

I don't go to many away games these days but would like to go to see the Fulham match. If I buy tickets online, do they send me paper tickets and do I have to pick them up from the Mad stad (which is impossible for me). Also as the post is so unreliable, what happens if they don't arrive on time, is...

I took the missus (then girlfriend) 'out for the day'. It was to be the only footy match she has been to. I remember driving there and parking in front of some offices and hoping that the car would still be there afterwards. It was.

So hijacking my original question... It was 5th April 1980, 1-0 against Plymuff, but who scored? How can I find out? Also, while I'm on a trip down really bad memory lane, what was Fozzies last game?
