A nice relaxed game would be nice, as I am watching from an Arsenal season ticket holder's seat, and I am not good at sitting quietly at football matches with an emotionless faces. However I have practised my sitting on my hands when we score, but not my stand up and politely clap when they do, as I...

The 17 Bus so if we get 35 points we are safe?

No we need 34 (well strictly speaking yes I suppose as 35 would also do  )

West Ham have 19 points and 15 games left = Maximum points possible of 64

We have 31 - so 34 more points needed.

Does who we draw have any impact on the team we put out tomorrow? If it is a relatively easy draw, do we go for it more than say Chelsea away? This of course would probably be the opposite impact the draw may have had in previous years, when we would have been desperate to play the big clubs. :?

The key was: Reading boss Steve Sidwell is fearing that a big Premiership club such as Arsenal, Chelsea or Man Utd would come in for star striker Kevin Doyle. The 23-year-old has been in impressive form for Reading so far this season, firing in goals from all angles to help the club sit in a comfort...

There is a certain oddity about this thread. This is hardly the same as taking the p*ss out of Man U fans for having never lived in Manchester. Charlton fans can't really be accused of being glory supporters can they. Fair play to the exiles who still keep going.

Hislop is an obvious choice, but at least we spent the £1.5m well to set us up overe the next few years  Others that I was upset about at the time but on reflection wern't the end of the world were Cureton, Kevin Watson, and strangely Gary Peters (the 2nd time, too young to be bothered the 1s...

A perfect result For once I can genuinly say that I am glad we are out and we can concentrate on the league (rather than the standard statement after a loss). Also very importantly we made a really good show of ourselves, without really giving Liverpool a feel for our first team tactics ahead of the...

Just got a response after several days - be patient - what do you expect!

Having said that the only downside was the response did not answer the question, so I have had to reply. So hopefully I should get an answer next week sometime

Reading World Highlights - Commentator

Who is the commentator on the Reading World Highlights. It is dreadful. He constantly says, great save by Weaver on Man City attacks - does he not recognise Marcus, or even know who plays on which team Then he calls Ivar - Ingerson when he scores and then Imarson when he misses a chance later on Con...

Harold I'm of the opinion that friendlies are a waste of time going to watch unless for instance Reading play somebody like Inter Milan that have some good international players on show.

But surely Reading will have some good international players on show!

'In Coppell we trust'

I believe this is an excellent signing - so far Coppell has been pretty reliable when it comes to this area, so that adds extra confidence.
