Re: England - the future....

I’m not sure what worse - Dion Dublin’s constant drivel, the referee, or Rashford’s cameo.

Re: The Non - League thread

Fighting at Slough v Farnborough apparently a few of the younger Farnborough fans couldn't deal with the loss well  https://twitter.com/Sachin__43/status/1725928251149705347?t=YXmgLzaGraIuSJUS02P1Rw&s=19 They clearly have a problem! Statement from the club last night: Following unacceptab...

I doubt Rashford has much of a part to play in England's future.

Sanguine The Setford brothers worth keeping an eye on too. Both born in the Netherlands to English parents, and both goalkeepers, Charlie (19) and Tommy (17) have both represented England's age group sides, and both play for Jong Ajax.

Hmm, I wonder if they would qualify as English in the SCR litmus test.

Re: England - the future....

Bellingham, Saka, Rice, Foden. Now maybe add Cole Palmer. And Levi Colwill is supposed to be the next great England defender. Rico Lewis is 18 years old and has played ten times for City already this season. Trent Alexander-Arnold, Reece James is he can get back to his best. In the under-21s there ...

Re: The Mental Health Thread

I would imagine I’m not alone, but I have to say, reading CR’s and JC’s posts affects me more than the current position the football club is in. :(

Re: MATCHWATCH : Shrewsbury Town (a)

Just to give a tiny bit of balance to the pile on.... The coaching isn’t all bad. We keep getting in front in games. It’s the mental frailty that is the real problem. That’s still largely down to the manager of course, but the combination of inexperienced players and (however much you want to dismis...

Re: England - the future....

I see the U17 world cup is on at the moment and yet there's naff all information or coverage anywhere in this country. From what little coverage there is England are currently 1-0 up on New Caledonia in a group also with Iran and Brazil. Yeah, I don't get it. I know setting up any kind of TV covera...

Re: We're ManchesteROFL United, we do what we want

No, that’s fine, I agree with you. Post match interviewers are always just looking for something that will make a headline and are clearly disappointed when they don’t get it. Their tactics will work on even the most experienced players and managers in the post-match emotional state they are often i...

Re: We're ManchesteROFL United, we do what we want

Rasmus Hojlund said, in all seriousness - "If you don't look at the result and only take the first 20 minutes into account we did quite well." Saw the interview earlier, the reporter asks a couple of questions that pretty much lead up to that reply paraphrasing but... - how do you think t...

Re: We're ManchesteROFL United, we do what we want

Whatever the rules to be applied are, there will always be controversies for the media and players / management to feel hard done by, but for me, I just think would be better if there were no penalties or cards issued for accidents. It’s just does not sit well with me that accidents, in a fast movin...
