I can hardly believe this. The statement on the Reading FC Official Site is eerily calm in its reporting of this. Let no one be under any illusion, currently thousands upon thousands of people in thousands of vehicles use this facility so the impact of this will be immense.

On your Bikey

Coppell wasn't too impressed with Mr B getting sent off yesterday - just as we were in the ascendancy. Quite simply his needless sending off cost us the game. We threw away the advantage we had for nothing. At the time, I didn't think his second "challenge" deserved a card but having seen ...

Several differences between Parky and Andy Hughes but the main one was that Parky tackled, Hughesy didn't - he just looked like he was going to then usually pulled out or went in half-hearted. Harsh but true. Tackled a bit more when he was playing as a full back (but then he had to in this position).

It passes only one criterion - originality. It fails the wit test.

That it's also sensible(ish) went without saying - or so I thought. Alright then, how about original and sensible(ish)? And as regards the person from Scotland not minding the chant, for crying out loud show some pride.

The DNB chant, along with several other reactionary chants, is simply unimaginative, boring and repetitive and makes us seem pathetic and immature. Can't we be a bit wittier or original?

I view it similar to how I view watching my children in a school event (school play, football match, atletics meet, etc). I support my kids. I support Reading FC. I therefore do not leave Reading FC matches early and neither do I leave events involving my kids early (aside from the fact that they ne...
