Re: England - the future....

I, for one, am delighted that Henderson misses out. Think he has been god awful for ages.

Re: England - the future....

Rashford, Sterling and Henderson all looking like being out. Agree with that decision if true. They have all had their time imo. Think Rashford could come again but he needs to move clubs and have a fresh start. Yep, would agree with that - don't think I'd be against Rashford being one of the playe...

Re: VAR

Because football is a worldwide game? Should we perhaps make the goal bigger so that we see more goals or widen pitches or do any other changes? Let's get it to work at the best level that we can just as with the review system in cricket. It's all moot anyway, just look at the FA Cup as an example....

Re: VAR

We can't just do a Brexit and get rid of it when everybody else uses it and it will be used in European Club competitions as well as Euros and World Cups I genuinely don't understand why not Because football is a worldwide game? Re: VAR

Feels very shortsighted to me, just getting rid. They just need to vote or putting strict rules in place on how/when it can be used and even applying a time limit i.e. if you spot nothing obvous in 30 secs, the decision stays as it was given on the pitch. Removing it will just see PL clubs playing ...

Winston Biscuit With Fenerbahce dropping points last week it means there is a potential for Galatasaray to secure the league win in the penultimate game of the season, at home, to Fenerbahce :o

Re: Rival Watch

The three relegated sides nearly always have insanely higher budgets than the rest of the Championship. That’s what the parachute payments do. I understand the 3 coming down will have parachute payments, but Leicester, Leeds and Southampton felt like a new extreme when it came to financial disparit...

Re: Champions League, Europa League & Europa Conference League 23/24

Not wanting to get embroiled in a circular argument, but to say Kane hasn't won anything, is a little harsh, imo. 7x Premier League Player of the Month 6x Premier League Team of the Year PFA Young Player of the Year 3x Premier League Golden Boots 1x World Cup Golden Boot 1x World Cup Dream Team 1x B...

Re: The Retained List

I really don't think Wing would cut it in the Championship these days. I think many of the younger players would step up though, while the higher skill and fitness level would see him struggle to be effective. As for Wing I do believe that with younger legs to work alongside him he could step up fo...

Re: Ex Players

Fae was never a like-for-like replacement for Sidwell, surely? Right sided midfielder, in a season we had 11 different players play in that slot. Really don't know what Coppell and the club were smoking in 2007. Pretty much a whole season knowing Sidwell would be going but when he did there was no ...

Winston Biscuit Real Madrid Vs Bayern tomorrow night. Hoping for another bone dry squib from them!

Would be quite amusing if Bayern win that. After a lot of people went after Kane for losing the league, he may have the biggest last laugh.

Re: Ex Players

Hound Also noted that we may come up against Stephen Quinn who Mansfield have offered a new deal to

Wouldn’t have expected that after his injuries here. Quality player though, really liked him

Yep, bit like McShane, jut badly dropped away from the level needed after injuries.
