Re: Jaap's Radio Comments

He basically said 1. We have no chance of winning of the league this year 2. It is very bad when home fans turn in the team and 3. Fans who turn on the team shouldn't bother coming to the stadium. Whilst I didn't (and won't boo), I did voice my surprise at the sub and can understand the frustration ...

Re: Parking

Also - you can park for free in the car park at the recreation ground off basingstoke road. You do need to get there about 45 mins before kick off though to make sure of a place. Got my car done there a few years back along with a dozen or so others. Park there with caution, especially night games.

Re: Sunderland Crap

Oh the irony Extolling the virtues of the Leeds festival (newbie btw) and yet banging on about the ground being 3 miles from the town centre in the middle of nowhere. Don't suppose they have ever tried walking from Leeds city centre to the Leeds festival, suggest they start now if they wish to get t...

Re: Play off Away Leg

Travel news, but there is engineering works on SWT between Barnes and Clapham Junction this weekend with replacement buses / diversions on the Reading - Waterloo service, so anyone thinking of taking the train to Putney from say Winnersh, Wokingham, Bracknell etc, and walking down the High St and ov...

Re: Play off Away Leg

Taken from the official Fulham FC website

"There will be an extremely limited number of tickets available for away teams for their respective way legs in the Play-Off Semi Final"

Maybe the 4 clubs have got together on allocation as well as pricing.

Re: Norwich Away - 8th April

Heads up for those driving to Norwich, there is a major fire at a petrol station on the A11 just before you start driving through Elvedon forest and the road is closed in both directions and whilst I've no idea how long it will be shut, a fire at a petrol station doesn't sound like a 5 minute job.

Re: BTFS - QPR

That was poor. Really poor. Lack of urgency, penetration and physicality. Booing of Mackie was embarrassing. He scrapped for every last ball for us when we were dire, has just come back from a long injury lay off and spoke well about us before the game. Don't blame him enjoying the goal. Let's forg...

Re: Leeds (a)

To emphasise the point even further, mate of mine is a Leeds STH who has a son and daughter roughly the same age as my 2 sons. It would cost him £35 for all 3 of them to attend the reverse fixture at the MS in April, £1 LESS than it will cost just for me to go to the game. 100% out In fairness to my...

Re: Quiz - How Many Can You Name?

Joint effort between son and myself got 125 out of 133. Of the 8 missing, 3-4 we wouldn't have got if we had to Christmas, 2-3 we could have got with a fair wind and 1 is a current regular player!

Re: BFTG Villa

Watching Villa in the first half was like watching table football, as we moved the ball across our back 4, 9 (and sometimes 10) Villa players would move in a line across the park making sure there was absolutely no room between their back 4 and their midfield 4 / 5. Bruce did a job on us and our man...
