Royal Rother I can’t remember a worse Reading team to watch.

Marriott’s finishing skills apart we are just horrible.

No effort to play anything that resembles football.

+1

Remember when we got relegated?

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bolton Wanderers (h)

oxf*rd me I’m cold. Way colder than the temperature should make me. Not many teams will hold Bolton to two points this season. They’re better than us. Would have taken a point coming in to it. Pereira’s flap was more than made up for by his other contributions and Nyambe was excellent. Need a plan t...

Anyone else having trouble with the ‘buy video pass’ button on the website? It’s just not doing anything for me on two devices.

Re: New Owners - Redwood Watch

So, after the fireworks (Couhig said "because I like them") we now have further proof that our club is now the plaything of a Yank rather than a club representing a town in England. Why not a celebration of Whitley or Tilehurst or even Wokingham or Thatcham where so many of the supporters...

Re: Savage in the hole

I really like Savage in that CAM role. Presses very well, energetic, physical. He also hits a mean shot and pretty decent assist stats as well Wing is a very good DM I think. Think i saw somewhere he tops all our stats for tackles, interceptions etc. And despite being that bit deeper his goals and ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stockport County (h)

If the ref has been running with an injury for the last few minutes, I’ve got to ask why the 4th official wasn’t getting some back-up kit on whilst the game was played.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stockport County (h)

Stockport look good but I think they’re tiring of that high press a bit and we’re getting into the game.

Re: Top winger individual performances

A man who played for Reading in a game Reading featured in but was playing for the other team, Sonny Aluko at Craven Cottage.

Demolished us that day and added insult to injury by costing us a packet thereafter.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (h)

Rino's not really the player you throw on to help get a goal, he's someone you go to for holding on to a lead. Blackburn away. I just don’t think Doyle is working for us Still would rather see him playing cdm and Wing and Savage further forward where they can cause damage I agree with this, nothing...

Re: New Owners - Redwood Watch

This salary cap crap has been bad for sport in the US. The strongest player’s union is Major League Baseball’s and they’ve been fighting against it tooth and nail for years. Ask who wants it? It’s the millionaire/billionaire owners. It’s not about competitive balance (which it’s absolutely not achie...

Re: New Owners - Redwood Watch

So, following on from Rob’s chat with Darragh MacAnthony it seems the L1 owners have got together and written to Rick Parry about how to “improve” the Football League fair play system. Plans suggested are to set every club in a division with the same playing budget and if clubs break it they then w...

Re: Rival Watch

I would imagine Wednesday are about as well insulated against it as you can get. Even if you tear it all down to a bunch of academy guys and not a lot else they’ve got a significant baseline of support and attendance that have already proven that they’ll show at this level, well beyond what we could...
