Re: Embargos, HMRC Payment defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

How does a relatovely average club like Reading end up with debts so high?

Like... even duong the terrible period of sig inf average players for 7 mil, and paying silly wages, durely that couldn't add up to nearly 200 million??

What is the current figure of our debt, and how did we arrive at it?

Re: Confrimed - Abbey and Holmes going

A lot of people saying it's barely a loss, but we have just lost Holmes and Abbey. So I think it's a massive loss. Not just depth, but you know... actual players to actually field. Not only that, he is Mr Reading through and through. He's bleed blue. Obviously he's a professional who just wants to g...

Ark Royal but looking forward to Saturday.

Leyton Orient are unbeaten in 5, with only one of those ending in a draw and the wins include beating Bolton and Portsmouth in their last 2.

This is going to be a serious test. The draw was Wycombe though.......

Snowflake Royal

Well I'd say you look substantially younger than me and I'm 42, if it helps.

I'm 40 ;-)

Twat.

Peter Pan innit? I'm like Jo Whiley, in so much as I suck the life out of new indie bands to stay youthful.

Nice play on words there ;-)

Bugger me, you're about 25 years younger than I thought! You say that, but I'm probably 15 years older than you think that I look... I had Myspace for chrisssstsake! Edit: Nath, I'm not opening your comment, so I will idly sit here and enjoy not knowing what you said :P  Well I'd say you...

Re: Embargos, HMRC Payment defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

Except it's not unprecedented or extraordinary. The Bury owner rejected several takeover offers, some news ones even arriving after the countdown clock had started. It's certainly unusual but the EFL saw a club end this way very recently. He also said Dai "gambled on getting to the PL, which n...

0 movement. No one is putting themselves in a position to receive the ball.

Fetting slightly better as the half wares on. I agree with the above Vickers seems to have gone backwards after the Madrid interest.

Feel like this needs it's own thread so we can discuss it in all it's glory. https://twitter.com/EdRyding/status/1740831312192168343?t=0-uYmyP1-_ny3EC9kYpcLQ&s=19 I think for some reason he thinks absent mindedly that we have already conceded for whatever reason and is kicking the ball in frust...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cheltenham Town (a)

Still at a loss to explain how bad our defending can be and, given how long it's been and how obvious the issues are, how nothing successive coaching teams have tried has had the slightest positive effect. Despite our overall better results I don't think our defence has improved really. Abbey and B...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cheltenham Town (a)

I thought Cheltenham were a great example.of a team able to switch up their play. One minute hoof ball, the next quick decisive passing. They forced us into hoof ball, and stopped us from passing. Despite being the same 11, this was a very different team applicstion to the Peterborough game. We were...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cheltenham Town (a)

People are getting carried away over the importance of tonight's game. Obviously we all want to be out of the bottom 4, but there are still over 20 games left after tonight. This mini revival will end with a bad result eventually (not just a loss, but a bad result) because that's where the team is ...
