Re: New HD player problems

If anyone is interested in how to download highlights from the player.reading site (I assume not as nobody replied to my posts), I've finally managed to get an application that works brilliantly: Total Video Downloader for Mac. Finally I can enjoy decent highlights here in Nepal even though I have t...

Re: New Football League highlights Show

I've never been able to work out why they can't do a show long enough so it can dedicate an hour to each league. It's not like there is anything else on, or that a couple of nomarks in a room with some highlight reels is particularly expensive TV. I think it's something to do with the rights they'v...

Is 107 what you listen to if you are listening via the Reading World match day broadcast? Shite if so. I used to listen to Berks FM for away games I hadn't gone to, and at the match via my mobile. the Reading World one was reserved solely for if I had to work on a Saturday away game. Loved the way t...

I've seen the New Reading kit today. Much better than last seasons. It has the same collar as the new away kit. Blue arms with the traditional hoops and solid back with no Print - Copy - Scan - Fax on it. Sounds very familiar to the new kit launched today.....those that didn't believe me. :l...

I won't be able to make it in on the 4th or 5th as I'm working, and who's to say that on the 6th they'll actually have my size in stock still? Don't really want to post in a form as when I've ordered online before they always cock up the lettering/numbering. Much rather go in in person and see them ...

With Villa we have to hope that LO'Learloly is still in charge come the start of the season as I think if they get a new manager they will be a team transformed.

I'm happy with the progress of the new signings and the negotiation of the existing players contracts. I trust in Coppell and the team to make this work. What does irk somewhat is that the letter with my new season ticket stated that Reading wish to remain in the top flight and that substantial inv...

I don't think anyone on here has said they want to go back to those days. Just looking back and seeing how far we've come that's all. I look back on days past with fondness of some things, but that doesn't mean I want them back. I sometimes think back to my first car with fond memories (an old beat ...

Where did I say I was desperate? Just thought that if you had infact seen the new kit you could describe the 'shade' of blue. Traditionally we have a royal blue, but last season's blue was a lot different to that. I can wait though. Do think that the club are missing out by not having the shirts ava...

That West Ham game was also memorable to me for winding up Nigel Winterburn at half-time. As they were leaving the pitch I was waving and laughing at the Hammers and Nigelol took great offence and started waving his fist at me, which just made me laugh and wave even more, chanting cherio cherio cher...

Re: Great pre-season friendlies of the past

West Ham, 05 August 2001: 2-0 down after about 20 mins and looking like getting battered. A superb Reading comback to be leading 4-2 at half time. Both teams made substantial substitutions in the second half and final score was 5-4. Cureton hatrick, Henderson and Parky were our scorers.

Was in the club shop yesterday and they think (aren't sure yet  ) that the new home shirt will be available in the shop on August 5th. We wait and we wonder.
