Re: Rival Watch

Was looking at their forum and it looks like they're trying to make their game on Sunday some sort of relegation party to take away Sheffield United's thunder.

There's a chance they get relegated before then but would require Portsmouth and West Brom to win and Blackburn to draw.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bolton Wanderers (h)

You know, as someone who wasn't a Reading fan at the time of the 95 play-off final, I don't mind Bolton, think they're a decent team.

Re: Rinomhota CONFRIMED

Excluding Paddy Lane, right? I know a few people have an inexplicable hard on for hating him, but this really is a stupid comment given he's played 20 games (and has a goal and an assist). I’m fully aware of that. But “playing” 20 games and actually impacting 20 games are not the same thing. That’s ...

Re: Rival Watch

I'm starting to wonder if Sheffield Wednesday will even make positive points this season. Hadn't realised they could mathematically get relegated already, but may allow them to bed in some younger players for next season without any pressure on them. My understanding from a friend is that they are ...

Re: Rinomhota CONFRIMED

This has felt like one of the most pointless signings this season unless Leam reckons he has a part to play for the final run-in

Re: Rival Watch

Caldwell leaves Exeter for wigan - seems a backward step for him tbh, yes wigan have more potential but could well be in league 2 next year Unsurprising, he played for Wigan and has managed them to promotion out of the third tier previously. Was doing good at Exeter so is still capable and will pre...

Re: Fixtures 2025/26

RG30 If Doncaster beat Stockport in the Vertu Trophy semi final, our match with them on the 11th April will be rearranged as it clashes with the final.

And only 3 weeks until the end of the season from that point as well.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bolton Wanderers (h)

Well guys we haven’t done that well down there in recent times so let’s see what happens tomorrow. As said above, our star loaner Amario Cozier-Duberry is out injured but we did sign two experienced replacements in Blackett-Taylor from Derby and Apter from Charlton who both have promotion and Champ...

Re: Rival Watch

Two observations: Firstly, the FA Cup 5th Round is, I believe, slated for the weekend of 7/8 March. Mansfield Town are still in the FA Cup and as a result their trip to Stockport on 7th is highly likely to be postponed. This will have an effect on Reading in some way as if Mansfield get a live TV g...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bolton Wanderers (h)

They're on a good run, if we play like we did yesterday, they'll probably pump us.

Have a feeling Roberts and Nyambe were rested with this game in mind.

Re: Play-off/relegation watch.

Looking at our next 5 Wycombe (H) - Last 6 away games read 1-4-1, they love an away draw, could see the same here. Bolton (H) - Last 6 away, 2-2-2, but their points have come against teams in the bottom half, feel we could nick the win Port Vale (A) - Last 6 Home, 1-1-4 but overall, 2-1-3, suggests...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wycombe Wanderers (h)

Just got back, absolute dogshit but we got the 3pts so can't complain too much. Wycombe's defence was there for the taking in a game they otherwise dominated.

Need to play much, much better on Tuesday.

Re: Richardson out

While the style of play can be an infuriating watch at times, one can't really argue with the uptick in results and ultimately, he inherited Hunt's squad and has had a window to try and shift it to a squad of his own making. Would really expect a promotion push next season should he not pull it off...

Re: Club to be sold again ?

I do think they'll look to maximise their investment which to me, means getting promoted to the Championship at a minimum before selling us on.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wigan Athletic (a)

Am i a lone voice in saying Rino will be involved tonight ?? Would be an interesting choice and would surely depend on what the recruitment team saw as his position in the team because he's recently come off the back of being a regular RB in the Championship, surely worth a look in considering the ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wigan Athletic (a)

I feel it will be too short a turnaround for Wigan to suddenly become a better side if the manager was indeed the issue. Just have to hope lessons have been learned from our own limp performance on Saturday.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wimbledon (a)

Is this London curse real? Just goes on and on. Wigan up next who are in atrocious form but might well be sacking their manager after an embarrassing 6-1 defeat.
