Re: Biggest Reading FC injustices

In keeping with several threads asking people to reminisce, I'm doing one on the worst refereeing injustices we've had. 2 stick in my mind: 1) Jason McAteer not getting sent off for the penalty at Wembley. Yes, Archie should have scored and we should have won anyway, but the comeback was never on i...

Excluding the 106 team, well that's an interesting challenge! I started watching in the first season back in Division 1 under Pardew so...

Re: What got you into supporting RFC?! And when you did who was your nearest team?

Ever since about the age of 5 I supported Manchester United, my dad took me to the 0-0 against Brighton in 2002 and the following season we got season tickets, not long into the season I decided I enjoyed actually going to a game and watching at a stadium than being an armchair United fan so I ended...

Re: Finance

With the finances I think we have to be realistic and if we get a good offer for any of our players we have to sell, it's the only reasonable way to get out of this mess in the short term while the long term will be a reduction in the level of wages offered, even if that mean we lose players for not...

Re: Coronavirus outbreak

Is there any scientific evidence on how safe eating takeaway food is? I assume the biggest risk is packaging and delivery driver. Don't know if it answers my question but reports McDonalds are shutting all UK stores from tomorrow indefinitely. Surely this is huge? It appears to be in response to no...

Re: Enjoying or hating the no football era?

I love watching Reading and England play, don't really care about watching other football. If I don't have emotional investment, football isn't that interesting for me.

Re: Record Watch 2019/20

If the league does continue, I wonder if this break would have helped us? Joao will get some fitness under his belt and I think it would be fair to say our best form came when he was leading the line.

Re: Rival Watch

Should we bring back the match thread when they beat us at the Madejski and many of us suggested it was too early to get carried away at their form at the start of the season?

Re: Do we dare to dream?

Let's face it - we make it to the playoffs then lose them we will be scared of another collapse next season. We make it to the playoffs and win them we will just be humiliated in the PL. Better to just missout on them make some good signings in the summer and push for it next season . With the amou...

Wow the amount of life sucked out of that commentator, no emotion on the "Gomes to wrap it up for Reading, he has, 3-1."

Why the oxf*rd are we constantly the makers of our own downfall?
