Re: NOT YET DEAD

I wasn't posting about Covid, pr Long-Covid. It just happens I've had both and some thought I'd succumbed. I succumbed to computerisis. But, just thought I'd mention something I noted this morning... I was looking for a fresh journal and found my 2020 diary which stopped dead when I got what I thou...

Re: Back to the Mad Stad

How was it for those who went? Concourses open? Beer? Sounded good on TV. Could only buy snacks and non-alcoholic drinks outside the stadium, nothing was open inside. Presumably it's fairly easy to smuggle in a hip flask at the moment. Can't see them being too keen on the usual OTT body searches in...

Re: Sustain the Game!

Maybe one for the unpopular opinions thread, but suppose the long suffering tax-payer does pay up at a time of national hardship - where does the money ultimately go? To [b/m]illionaire owners and players? While noone wants to see their own club go to the wall, there aren't too many professional clu...

Re: Back to the Mad Stad

The only thing emailed to me was a confirmation email, I'll try ringing the club tomorrow, I have already sent an email in case they respond before I wake up. How did you get on? Tickets arrived just before 10am, gonna print them in future! Is there no e-ticket option? This all sounds very 2006.

Old Man Andrews I think "mild inconvenience" is the phrase you were looking for. "DISASTER" might be stretching it a bit.

We recommend you allow extra time for your journey, kind of thing.

Forewarned is forearmed.

Re: Back to the Mad Stad

Looking to buy for Brum midweek. Can you only access tickets online at 10am? Out in calls tomorrow so going to be stuffed. From 10 am tomorrow- but you have all day to purchase before the fans who had tickets for the Forest game can apply from 10am Friday- i reckon you will still get one if you try...

Platypuss How far back to the records go? Mine only goes back to 2016, so have far fewer RP than I was expecting.

2011 for me,

rel8ed - I have said for ages I think the shirt should have the flag of Berkshire on it. Maybe a little one on the sleeve. Something to differentiate it from others and make it more personally linked to the area https://www.theflagshop.co.uk/media/catalog/product/cache/1/thumbnail/9df78eab33525d08d...

Re: Sjm country pad for sale

I remember a documentary about Sir John Madejski and he took the viewer on a guided tour of this place, I think it was still under construction/not yet ready at the time. Things I recall about it, facts that may be a bit twisted due to time: He was hands on with the specs and made sure the shower c...

Re: We will iFollow the Reading on laptop and TV

If they're keen to maximise the response rate, why the short window to reply?

Mixed messages from the FSA there.

Seems they're not really fussed on reading feedback, just on having ammo to go chest thumping with.

I'm up for that providing they don't start losing. I'm the opposite, I always worry with non-league teams the danger is they start doing well and morph into the very thing you were trying to escape from. A scrappy 3-2 defeat against Harrow & Wealdstone will do for me. See you on Boxing Day then...

Re: Sjm country pad for sale

Snowflake Royal If it wasnt for the way the economy is likely to be totally oxf*rd post Covid and Bexit, it might make a decent investment opportunity.

Bit ostentatious and cavernous for my tastes.

In my experience it's not so much the asking price as the upkeep with places like that.
