Re: Bristol City (A)

Does that trouble you then?

Would you pay more than you think is reasonable to "save face"?

If so I suggest you're part of the problem - clubs can charge what they like and they know chumps will pay it.

Re: Bristol City (A)

Honestly if you think it's too expensive (and at £32 I'm inclined to agree) then don't go. Same as any other event or form of entertainment. I can't see why people get so het up about it.

Re: Swansea (a)

Bit disappointed with the 2-0 loss against Charlton, but hay what the hell we are still over the moon to be in England an...

Re: Unauthorised data gathering / Texting during games

Can't see anything there which would stop you texting or posting to social media as long as it doesn't contain photos, video or audio taken in the ground. There's also this, but it doesn't apply to mobile phones. 19 Save as set out in paragraph 16 above, no person (other than a person who holds an ...

Re: Blue-collar streetfood

Maneki Neko what manner of the food of the streets do you plan on purveying, Green?

I'll probably take more of a back office role tbh and get some dogsbodies in to run the day to day.

Re: Have we sold the Mad Stad to the owners/someone else?

The sale shouldn’t Be an issue, it’s the valuation that will catch people. The EFL rules state that any transactions must be at a genuine market rate. This is in the context of supplying goods and services and sponsorship but would be relevant for sale of assets as well. As long as we sold the grou...

Re: The Forest is Green!

The Enfield Royal71 Terrible loss to a good team. Bad goalkeeper error

And another red card - how many is that already this season?

A sign of the kind of fighting spirit the team needs, or a symptom of a lack of a discipline and focus that's failing to be addressed in training?

From Despair To Where? In other countries, clubs have to provide assurances of financial viability at the start of each season in order to compete.

They do things better abroad klaxon

Re: Generic clubs in financial crisis Thread

Just shooting off the hip here but something I've been mulling over. Obviously it's devastating if your club goes under - but all this talk of "this shouldn't be allowed to happen to clubs with over 100 years of history" rather exacerbates the problem. It's the "banks are too big to f...

Maneki Neko Blue collar street food doing the match day food stalls. What a ruddy great idea that is.

C1871 season ticket holder runs the company. So it's nice knowing where the money's going too (i.e. to someone local).

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

well yes but getting a better rate =/= paying a premium which was the point previously being made Anyway, I've done some research through some unashamedly ITK pals and as I now understand it there's no such late/early premium anyway. These contracts work as so: [*]Kit manufacturer (KM) provides £X ...
