Re: Sjm country pad for sale

I remember a documentary about Sir John Madejski and he took the viewer on a guided tour of this place, I think it was still under construction/not yet ready at the time. Things I recall about it, facts that may be a bit twisted due to time: He was hands on with the specs and made sure the shower c...

Re: We will iFollow the Reading on laptop and TV

If they're keen to maximise the response rate, why the short window to reply?

Mixed messages from the FSA there.

Seems they're not really fussed on reading feedback, just on having ammo to go chest thumping with.

Re: Back to the Mad Stad

I'm up for that providing they don't start losing. I'm the opposite, I always worry with non-league teams the danger is they start doing well and morph into the very thing you were trying to escape from. A scrappy 3-2 defeat against Harrow & Wealdstone will do for me. See you on Boxing Day then...

Snowflake Royal If it wasnt for the way the economy is likely to be totally oxf*rd post Covid and Bexit, it might make a decent investment opportunity.

Bit ostentatious and cavernous for my tastes.

In my experience it's not so much the asking price as the upkeep with places like that.

Millsy I think it should simply be:

"Reading FC", Blue letters on a white background.

Good one, Millsy.

Maybe put it in comic sans?

Re: We will iFollow the Reading on laptop and TV

Whether £10 represents good value probably depends on what value you put on the day out as part of the overall fan experience - for some it's incidental, for others it's everything. Is it on the expensive side, probably, but that's football. It's not been a cheap hobby for decades now. The dichotomy...

Re: Lucas João Is 27!

Snowflake Royal Koreans measure age from fertilisation, and everyone changes age on the first day of the new year.

So Koreans are born age 1. And a Korean born in late December will be 2 years old within days of their birth.

We can all agree this is ridiculous, right?

Millsy Been thinking about it and 4 wins out of 4 games isn't a bad start really is it.

Apparently they could hear the cogs ticking from as far afield as Mortimer.

Blame it on bad planning, suppliers letting you down, or some other unspecified logistics problem then I guess.

Happens to the best of us tbf.

Re: Sustain the Game!

The campaign looks for urgent action from the authorities to protect the very existence of clubs in this dangerous time. Which authorities, and what action is required? Looks very broad in scope and very general at the moment. A bit "Down with this sort of thing", dare I say it. Fine if i...

I remember being overjoyed when I finally got Dave Beasant in ProSet cards.

Not sure why this sticks in the memory tbh, I'm sure a psychologist would have a field day.

Was always a fan of Coventry City's elephant. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/9/94/Coventry_City_FC_logo.svg/175px-Coventry_City_FC_logo.svg.png Agree. Always a joy to get the Coventry ‘shiney’ when opening a pack of football stickers in my youth Simpler times eh, SouthDownsRoyal.
