Re: What got you into supporting RFC?! And when you did who was your nearest team?

I grew up literally across the street from Elm Park (just off Wilson Road), so it was an easy choice.

Can't remember my first game, as I would've been too young. However, I do remember the game where it clicked for me and I started loving football - the 3-3 draw against Nottingham Forest in 1997.

Am I right in thinking, that if Liverpool had beaten Watford, they'd have the title?

Re: 2019/20 Season - How will it end?

Could they cancel the domestic cups?

Come back after the summer and complete this season, then take a break, start the season late (October, for example) but don't bother with the League Cup or FA Cup. Should free up a considerable number of evenings and weekends

Re: Coronavirus outbreak

Had a funny thought that maybe playing games behind closed doors will break our "home hoodoo". I know our fans aren't exactly vicious but maybe it will take the pressure off a bit?

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stoke City (h) sponsored by John Halls

I’m looking forward to this one - I think it’ll be a good marker of where we are as a team. Stoke are more than beatable but have some decent players knocking about. Allen will be a miss though I’m guessing it’ll be the same team - possibly Obita back in. I think Obita is clearly Bowen’s favoured L...

Re: Rival Watch

That second half was utterly deflating. It felt like the moment I realised we weren’t going to get anywhere with Gomes at the helm - got worked out so easily and comprehensively We had gone into the game having recovered well from the opening League defeats. I expected us to win and move into the t...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stoke City (h) sponsored by John Halls

Think this one has draw written all over it. Going for a solid 1-1. James Linington is an absolute wnaker. I was gonna say wasn't he really fat, but then I realised I was mixing him up with Brett Huxtable. He reffed our game against Gillingham in the League Cup and barely left the centre circle :lo...

Re: BFTG Brum

Someone’s obsessed I like him. Needs time to settle into Championship football. Likewise would play better in a settled team with a defined role within it. As with Meite and Miazga plays with his heart on his sleeve. Gives 120%. If anything was trying to hard to impress in his brief appearances off...
