Re: The very latest in STAM OUT threads...with poll

@TomJCrocker Stam: I don’t pay any notice to the fans. Even last season they were being negative. If they want to be negative towards me that’s fine but they need to support the players. #readingfc oof What's funny is that he thinks he's rising above the booing, but all he's doing is showing how mu...

Re: What is the point in HRK

Hope you were all watching our "FA cup story" before the game, and noticed how crucial HRK has been in the run. VS Huddersfield : clever play to get Blackman through on goal. VS Cardiff: off the bench to score an 88th minute winner. VS Derby: a brilliant brilliant goal to put us ahead and...

Re: Semi final tickets?

The ticket allocation criteria are a complete joke. I've only been to one game in the last 5 years due to priorities changing in my life. Now, due to the priority given to my historically accrued loyalty points, I am going to be forced to make a trip to Wembley i cant really afford to get on the la...

Re: Semi final tickets?

At the start of the season, it was pretty clear we were going to have a difficult season and we had many fans rejoicing in telling us they weren't renewing their season ticket. Now, the loyalest fans who renewed despite knowing it was going to be shit find they have virtually no advantage over thes...

Re: Semi final tickets?

Agreed Zac, except that isn't in any respect the case that was being made for STH+1. There would be complaints either way, the club had to make a decision. They have gone for spreading the tickets widely whilst making life awkward for many of their most important supporters (in financial terms ) As...

Re: Semi final tickets?

It's impossible for the club to have a system that keeps everyone happy but that's an absolute pisser for me. I have two sons living in Glasgow who go to literally every game they can but these are not sufficient to have 300+ points. The only game we played when they were down for Christmas was Hud...

Re: Semi final tickets?

The club have got this spot on. I'm a season ticket holder and if I was given a plus 1, I would have offered it up and it most likely would have been taken by a mate who doesn't support Reading. Whilst this may enhance my experience, it wouldn't be fair that a Reading supporter could miss out as a r...

Re: Bradford away- biggest game in years...

Harpers So Solid Crew Surely the perfect opportunity for a large screen at the madstad, ala Brentford.

Not really as this one's screened live on national Tele. I'd rather go down the boozer - better atmosphere.

SCIAG QPR at home, 05/06. Particularly when we won the penalty. Murty to score for the points record.

Agree, a proper party atmosphere. Even QPR supporters joined in with the blue and white display before the game.

Poofs.

Except they didn't join in at all.

MmmMonsterMunch I'd wager that at present our back line barring McCarthy is probably one of the worst in the division.

Worst performing considering their ability, maybe. Worst ability, no.

Re: #AskJason

The problem with these debates is that there are different scales and types of racism and they are all discussed interchangeably, which just confuses things. Firstly, verbal and physical racist abuse fueled by hatred is far less common than it used to be (certainly in this country). This does not me...

Re: The real big cock-ups

I prefer the traditional "Reading way" of finding the gems and nurturing them (Long, Gylfi etc...). I'd rather see us develop slowly as a club, buying players for less money and therefore standing less to lose. Relegation last year was painful, we didn't have a squad anywhere near hoping ...

Re: Rumour - Gary Hooper

Are you kidding? Pog can't jump, he wins next to nothing in the hair, he is pretty average at holding the ball up. He didn't actually do a lot right last season. He's got a great left peg though. Roberts is strong, he knows every trick in the book to get the better of his marker, and that includes ...

I'm really looking forward to next season in a way that I didn't this last season. So I thought I'd get my statistics model ready. Horror ....... we're 20th - ADKINS OUT !!! Good news though - QPR are in the bottom three and wolves get relegated to league 2 :D Corrected ....but incorrect.

royal67 More affordable away days (particularly Bournemouth and Blackpool), winning more games than we lose, our players smiling again and a nice cheap season ticket.......
