Re: BFTG - Bristol

Great day in the Bristol sunshine. Fans were superb, never stopped singing from the out. As Clarke said, this was a very comfortable and professional performance - we raced out the blocks, got two great goals early on and then I thought it would be 4 or 5 at this rate. We never really got out of 1st...

Re: Burnley (h) Prediction Thread

With Williams and Guthrie now out I just can't see us winning this.

Reading 0 - 2 Burnley. Brighton draw at Forest to nick 6th on goal difference

Re: Millwall (a) Match Thread Sponsored by Jugular brand bla

Obviously the odds are against us finishing in the top two, and I'd kinda rather we didn't, but we're by no means out of the race either. Ideal world we tick along nicely, finish 4th or 5th and narrowly lose across the PO semis. Takeover goes through, keep our best players, release some deadwood, b...

Re: Millwall (a) Match Thread Sponsored by Jugular brand bla

Not to be negative - but we're talking like QPR are the only other team in competition for 2nd.

We've still got 3 places and 6 points to climb first... and I don't fancy Forest to lose those 2 games in hand either. Looking like its going to be a tight finish

Re: The Manager Sack Race/Merry-go-Round

Not sure anyone thought he was the right man for Reading did they? Thought we were unanimous in not wanting him anywhere near the club. http://hobnob.royals.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=118016&hilit=di+canio That's nearly a 1/4 of posters on here who, at the least, wouldn't mind him as Rea...

Team for Brum (H)

Think this might be the hardest team decision yet, with lots of players potentially back from short-term injury. I'd like to see Obita get another chance McCarthy Kelly, Pearce, Morrison, Bridge Baird, Guthrie McCleary, Obita, Drenthe Pog Bench: Feds, Gunter, Gorkss, Williams, Le Fondre, Sharp?? (if...

Re: RUMOUR - Billy Sharp

FTR, it's been confirmed by the Daily Echo reporter down here that we're close. Interesting reading the reporters comments "The deal is not yet complete, but the Championship club are understood to be keen to secure Sharp in time for him to play at Derby tomorrow" I guess we'll know by 11...

Sounds like this one may have legs.

He would be an excellent signing, if only short-term to help us get back the the premiership.

Re: Rumour: Sylvain Ebanks-Blake

8 weeks a go when I was on a Bridge/Drenthe high I would have laughed at this. But right now I would take it. All summer I have been convincing myself POG will come good and he managed to change my mind in 10 minutes on Saturday. If we are sticking with 1 up front Ebanks-Blake is not a bad shout as...
