Re: MATCHWATCH : Wigan Athletic (h) sponsored by Nicky Forster

If he starts Puscas alone up Ill scream......Baldock needs to start, I don't know what he has done to deserve this treatment off of Bowen but persevering with a player whose work rate/creativity and threat is nowhere near the bloke whose sitting on the bench is utter lunacy. Maybe only scoring 4 go...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wigan Athletic (h) sponsored by Nicky Forster

 Puscas instead of Baldock....... I’d start him on the basis that a couple of games ago, he did well, and it’s no use to him (or Baldock) constantly chopping and changing. Choose one, give them a bit of a run to see if they can deliver in a fast turnover period. In addition, Puscas scored a h...

Re: January Transfer Window

Playing in the top tier of Dutch football? Captained his team in a few games and scored twice and two assists? Would say he is doing alright for himself, tbh. Yeah, he wasn't amazing but as I've said before, he took unwarranted criticism like all our Dutch players did and he's still playing at a re...

Re: January Transfer Window

Is he wrong to be fair? Did he ever get a decent run in the team to show what he can do? Look where Clement is now, that will tell you all you need to know. Playing in the top tier of Dutch football? Re: January Transfer Window

Old Man Andrews
3points Would rather have Bod here now than Baldock. Also never felt Pelle Clement got a decent run and think Bowen might like his style too.

Good lord......

Re: Bowen Out.

After a good run, our recent home form has been w@nk It’s a test these next two - 2 inconsistent teams but who have proven capable of pulling off big results. If we don’t pick up at least 3 points, then a few questions will certainly be asked of how we are setting up at home (seem to be pretty soli...

Re: January Transfer Window

From Despair To Where? Yann had already announced his retirement for the end of the season so we offered him a year's extention slap bang in the middle of a 4 month injury layoff where there were doubts he would play again.

To Yann's credit, he walked.

He spent most the last season walking round the pitch aimlessly too

Re: Bowen Out.

I feel the Summer transfer window will be incredibly important, we have a team that with the right additions could become a promotion chasing club I reckon. I agree I think the hardest part will be keeping the squad together next summer. If we didn’t sell anyone next summer (which is highly unlikel...

Re: No BFTG Leeds (A)?

Thought we started the first 30/40 quite well. Deep runs from Pele, Rino, Swift and Olise was successful and all that was lacking was that end product Until Phillips got injured, then Leeds did a re jig and put White as CDM which is a completely different proposition. We failed to adapt, and their ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Leeds United (a) sponsored by Simon Church

Thought we played ok today, in the first half, especially the first 20mins i thought we looked very good with some great driving runs from midfield by Pele, Rhino and in particular Olise, that one run where he dropped his shoulder and ghosted past two Leeds players and that dazzling piece of skill ...

Re: Modou Barrow

Mmmmmmm, a bit harsh. Agree on the other three though Beerens was wrong manager, wrong tactics. I think he would have been brilliant under Bowen. Great finisher when given the chance as well. Beerens was such a weird one. Never very popular with the fans but good first season. Then played out of po...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Leeds United (a) sponsored by Simon Church

People on Twitter saying Baldock walked down the tunnel before the game was over. Very angry at not being brought on. So were the fans. Sang his name a lot in the final 10 minutes. He was warning up and looking very pointedly to the bench. As if Bowen would use another attacker That would involve p...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Leeds United (a) sponsored by Simon Church

In the words of Neil Mellor............"Reading have offered little" :-( Unfortunately, this will be a permanent fix under Bowen against any team that is vaguely decent Other than Wednesday, too many away days recently with 0/1/2 shots on target, Cardiff, Millwall, Stoke, today...I really...

Re: Bowen Out.

WBA away is actually our best performance of the season imo Thought we could have been onto something really good at the time It was up there but IIRC we also got pretty lucky that a penalty wasn't awarded 5 mins in which could have made for a very different game. Yeah, agreed. Thought it was a sto...
