Re: Wigan (A)

Already here. After heavy snow yesterday it's all pretty well melted away on the roads. Just returned from the Spoons in Wigan where they had £1 a pint Doombar, not sure that will last till Saturday but the equally nice Ruddles was £1.77 a pint I'm in Manc, looking out over the ship canal. It cold.

Re: #SellBeforeWeDai (to someone fit and proper)“ supporters action group

I'm told we've got a thread on the Cambridge Utd forum with a lot of support. The donation to Vale fans go fund me is playing extremely well. https://cambridgeunitedfc.proboards.com/thread/10931/solidarity-reading-fans To be fair clapping will definitely help the situation. Is there anything to be ...

Jeez, over £3000 raised in 48 hours? That is some effort from our supporters. Think my favourite is " £16 for the 16 points deducted by the EFL so far at Reading. Sorry for all the grief on Saturday. At least you got to enjoy a goal for 5 seconds. Enjoy the rest of the season ." yeah, gre...

Re: Selles In

Ruben’s interview with The Chronicle today suggests he’s not far from packing it in. Getting nothing encouraging from the owner, losing his coaching team around him, having to front-up to the media for all the crap, etc. No wonder he is mentally tired. Just read it and yes he does sound pretty fed ...

Re: Wigan (A)

I am going to this one as I haven’t been to the DW Stadium before and I’ll be up in Chesterfield. Stupidly, I thought it would be about an hour on the train, but now I have bothered to check it’s going to be a bit of pain. I can’t be bothered to drive so it’ll be trains, buses and taxis. I would ha...

Re: Oxford (A)

Surprised it took that long to sell out. Man Utd away last season sold out in 20 minutes because the ticket office were idiots and massively underestimated demand I'm guessing it's because there are only a relatively small number of people who'd go to away games who were eligible (online at least) ...

Re: Oxford (A)

How come you are in if you are not a season ticket holder- so can’t buy for a while ?? You can buy in person at the TO without meeting the criteria Surely the ticket office should be applying the selling criteria? https://i.pinimg.com/564x/33/b5/50/33b550e93c6ddbeb495452b733236b32.jpg

Re: Selles In

Tweet about it here, with commentary

https://twitter.com/SkyFootball/status/ ... 7519187166

As the rule is what it is, Selles is guilty as but its pretty clear that (a) a lot of people don't know it is the rule and (b) other managers have/would try it if they think they could get away with it.

Re: Wigan (A)

Clyde1998 Tomorrow marks two weeks until we play Wigan and the tickets for this one haven't gone on sale yet. I had a look on the Wigan website and they don't appear to be selling tickets to home fans. :?

Any ideas what's going on with this?

Any chance of it being postponed?

Feel like this needs it's own thread so we can discuss it in all it's glory. https://twitter.com/EdRyding/status/1740831312192168343?t=0-uYmyP1-_ny3EC9kYpcLQ&s=19 I think for some reason he thinks absent mindedly that we have already conceded for whatever reason and is kicking the ball in frust...

Bindon looked assured when he came on. Everyone else just a bit off pace/swamped by a harder working side.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cheltenham Town (a)

I'll take the point. After some strong away performances, we got swamped there. Cheltenham pressed hard and kept the press up until they brought on the small striker. 1-0 was probably fair. 2-0 was a farce. Then we discovered how to cross. We had another spell in second half where we could have nick...

Re: Peterborough (A)

Yeah, arrived late and sat pretty much by myself to the left of main entrance. May have been low numbers (perhaps unsurprising on Boxing day), but in good voice.

Also suggests a few 100 ST holders purchase and then don't show. Saw empty seats at Orient, for example.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Peterborough United (a)

Well was fun. Posh were probably the best opposition I've seen this season ... and we matched them. Not saying we weren't under cosh for some extended spells but our attacks looked threatening, we were never completely done for, it was a proper game. So, yeah, same three shone (Dorsett, Smith, Craig...
