Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Ricky Newman

Speedy wingers is up there with not playing out from the back as the two cliches that would supposedly make us much better whilst likely doing nothing of the sort We’ve had speedy Wingers recently whilst playing some of the most turgid football on record. Plus Meite and Ovie aren’t exactly slow, or...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Ricky Newman

S'cuz we don't use wingers, innit. There's a fair bit of disagreement about whether Ejaria is best wide left or central. We are short on players who fit the left hand roll well, but with Ejaria, Olise, Baldock, Richards and Semedo we've got options. And with Meite, Olise, Yiadom and Esteves, it'd b...

Sutekh Actually shouldn’t Joao’s goal technically be credited as a Białkowski og?

Don't think so no.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Ricky Newman

We'll get way more from playing Holmes than Gunter. If Gunter was here Holmes wouldn't have played a minute and the twitterati wouldn't have had the dual pleasure of declaring Esteves the beat thing since sliced bread and then a totally shit waste of space Reckon HNA has been equally guilty of runn...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Ricky Newman

For me, Rino (unintentionally) catches him slightly as he's winding up to shoot. I think the ref's got it spot on (unlike a lot of the rest of the game), but it's a tricky one. Its very hard to see where he touches him tbf. It looks like, judging by the way Parrott fell, he clips his foot. But I've...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Ricky Newman

Only just seen the replay of the foul for the free kick. Couldn't get much softer imo. Debatable whether it actually even is a foul. Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Ricky Newman

They're spot on. I gotta say Snowie, I'm impressed by how calm and collected you have been this season. Its hard for me to stay rational but you seem to have managed it. Didn't he threaten to burn the Madejski Stadium to the ground when Bowen left? If he did i have to say I'm surprised he could see...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Ricky Newman

Neither one of them had a bad game. Clueless. Yeah, sorry Paddy. Wouldn't have picked either of them as having a poor game. Semedo and Rinomhota maybe, but not them. Maybe they suffer because of the expectation for the exceptional? Meite, Ejaria and Joao came out of it very well I thought. Joao imp...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bristol City (h) sponsored by Scott Murray

I have a sneaky suspicion that Semedo will start in place of Olise again. I think perhaps the issue Pauno has with Olise is that he tends to go where he wants? As a fan I love seeing Olise popping up all over the shop, trying to get the team moving but I wonder if Pauno wants a more rigid structure....

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Ricky Newman

Cant believe how bad Ejaria was last night. He needs to be in the middle. Also worrying was how poor Meite was as well. We obviously sacrificed playing football to avoid losing. To me that was one of our poorest performances of the season but from a pragmatic point of view we got a point. Just woul...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Ricky Newman

Stopped the rot is the positive but some piss poor performances in there, with Semedo and Ejaria both hopeless. Olise too clever for his own good, no point doing the flash stuff when he so often messes up the simple stuff. Holmes was excellent. Holmes played well, but offered nothing going forward ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Ricky Newman

I think Pauno was fair when he said we seem to be inspiring the best shooters in the league. Yes we have conceded some goals due to really sloppy errors but also there has been some quality goals scored against us. Dunno if it is fair to criticise the positioning from Rafael. Sure, the wall didn't e...

Royal Ginger
SouthDownsRoyal Who was playing in Reading shirts for the first eight games :?

Conversion rate was way beyond sustainable. So extremely lucky versions of the current toothless bunch essentially.

Sure, the conversion rate against us since Coventry has been equally ridiculous.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Ricky Newman

NewCorkSeth Christ i didn't miss Dellor last game. Every time Holmes touches the ball: "comfortable"

Now he's talking about height.. Mick identifying 5ft7 and 5ft8, respectively, Richards and Rinomhota as "about 5ft10". Mick obviously works on mens tinder profiles in his spare time.
