Re: Rival Watch

Snowball rather than raging about others not reading your stuff maybe read it your self.
People are responding to what you ACTUALLY wrote, not what you THINK you wrote or MEANT to write

I thought you considered yourself to be linguistically pretty switched on ?

Re: Rumour - Perry Ng

Twitter linking us with Brian Yeo, which would make us the first team ever to have both a player with no vowels in their surname and one with (debatably) no constonants (Brian Yeo is 76, which may cast doubt on the rumour although apparently Mr Dai is behind the move himself, just to wind up Snowball)

Re: Rival Watch

I did not clap for the NHS because it was cultish bullshit But I have told my family that I want to give my 6,000 book library to the NHS if they can find a room for it, as a long term thank you to NHS workers and support staff. The clapping was an awkward, cultish and embarrassing media event wher...

Re: Rumour - Perry Ng

And thereafter he is called “our goalkeeper” Yeah right You seem to struggle with anything other then rigid, inflexible rules ! You need to get a little more open minded.... If you say so, but personally, seven in a bed including a goat seems open minded enough for me. Had lunch in London today wit...

Imagine spending your Sunday evening trying to kiss up to Ian Royal....... So, so embarrassing. deary me ‘OMA’ Bad day? Not at all. Sick of Ian and his disgusting arrogance when it comes to Reading FC based discussions. This is a guy who said he had stopped supporting the club yet apparently is the...

Re: BF I follow Barnsley

Yup, Struber comes across as a decent guy (got some decent results last season inheriting a ‘relegated’ team).....delighted that they stayed up last season. He was known as the Gareth ainsworth of the Championship last year. Of course with Wycombe undeservedly fluking promotion he is no longer allo...

Re: BF I follow Barnsley

JUstseen the post match comments from the Barnsley manager. I reckon almost every manager would have whinged that the decisions cost them, that they deserved to win etcetc. Their guy does say the cards were decisive, but doesn’t complain, doesn’t have a go at the ref and generally comes across as a ...

Re: Nathan Phillips

Simon's Church He had a long term back injury when he was 17/18 then was out for about a year with a knee injury, and has had 2 long term injuries in his 2 seasons in the first team. Even if its not a recurring injury he's definitely prone to injury.

YEAH, but apart from those he’s kept reasonably fit.

Re: BF I follow Barnsley

Well the Christianson sending off in the Chelsea game is pretty much identical with regards the distance between the 'last' defender, the attacker and the goal keeper. Red card. Last defenderis irrelevant, and use of the term may be punishable with a short prison term. Did the ref in the Chelsea ga...

Re: Rumour- Lewis Gibson

We seem to be getting linked tolots of players but not actually signing any of them. Even Riquelme, who has now been here so long he qualifies to play for England, hasn’t actually signed. Does this suggest many of this connections are in accurate, or are we genuinely struggling to complete these dea...

Re: BF I follow Barnsley

I totally dislike how we defend corners we just invite pressure allowing the opposition to flood our box, you need to keep someone up top maybe a smaller player with pace, they'll leave a few defenders back. Fair play to Barnsley, think we probably would have scored as they tired, but they will sup...

Re: Rival Watch

Well, we'll remain 1st after game week 2 unless Bristol City beat Stoke by 3 goals or more today. 1-0 up half time. Hadn't noticed Nakhi Wells has moved there. I'm sure he was there last season? Stranded is in Germany, it probably didn’t make the sports headlines of Bild or Deutschland Zeitung (if ...

Re: Rumour - Perry Ng

Of course, just as you could be wrong. I have been taught all my life that a-e-i-o-u are the FIVE English Vowels, or proper-vowels, that y is ALWAYS, 100% of the time a consonant, but can ACT as a vowel. Half a dozen of my English teachers, and a few encyclopaedias and dictionaries could be wrong o...

You're 100% correct. Ian doesn't understand football, we have seen further proof of this earlier today. Actually I’m starting to think Snowflake might have a point.... Re: BF I follow Barnsley

Forgot that was a second yellow. I think there was a clear and obvious error on the first one, obviously. But there wasn’t. You just have a different opinion to the ref. There is no error of fact. Here we go again. "?????? What are you on about ? My statement was incontrovertible ! You ...

Re: BF I follow Barnsley

Real time, angle, previous incident. Yeah, it's the wrong call IMO but it's never been hard to see why he made it. I'd be appealing both cards if I was Barnsley. I know some ridiculous appeals get through but there should be a clear and obvious error involved, not just a difference of opinion. The ...
