Re: Palace tickets FA Cup

Is this completely sold out for non ST holders? Been trying every day since they announced the draw with no luck. :(

Re: New song for Steve Clarke

I don't think we should be negative towards him dudes, he deserves our support Dudes? Fcuck off. Anyway, explain your thinking. He's our manager who has decided to stay with us despite the fact Fulham probably would have had more appeal. You're kidding yourselves if you think not. He's been honest ...

Re: Are to unhappy Steve Clark is staying?

I hold no blame to the man. If I was in a workplace and got another job offer of course I would want to see the situation. He's decided the situation is better here and has decided to further commit to Reading FC. What's the issue? We're not Liverpool fans; are we?!?

Re: RUMOUR - Matej Vydra

What a signing! This has now 100% been the best transfer window I can remember. Guaranteed goals in the Champ with Vydra and if Hec goes I'd like another CB but even if that doesn't happen i'll be over the moon. URZ! I recall other sayign somethign similar when we signed Pog, Williams and D...

Re: The 'Number 10' Playmaker Thread

Would loved to have seen HRK there maybe 2 years ago but he just hasn't got the technical ability now (Yes I know where he plays but it would have been worth a shot). Other than that no one really ticks the boxes. Just for the record didn't Piazon play on the wing for Vitesse/Frankfurt? Not sure on ...

Re: RUMOUR - Michael Hector to Palace

I think 4M without add ons is a good price for Hector and equips us well for a new signing or two. Wouldn't be gutted if he went because we'd get so much in addons for Chelsea getting rid of him. :D

Re: No left back = taking the piss.

Ian I think it's mainly down to the fact that the promises of signings and hard work are usually transparent and I don't expect it to be any different this year. It should be, not just because of the larger income but because we have a shallow squad with only 1 or two above average players; plus a t...

Re: No left back = taking the piss.

We've taken in about 10M (at least) in players plus a possible Siggy sell on ( ? ). The issue for me is that the reinvestment never equates to what we received for the players. I've no bother with doing things the way we are doing currently (Free's, Loans and Oldies) if we're not selling our best pl...

Re: Antonio - Sell On Clause?

25% sell on according to maffff. That pretty much pays for Cox then. Thank you, Forest. lol so Forest basically paid for Cox to join us..... So that kinda evens things up. McCleary cost us nothing (a result) Gunter cost us £2 million (over-priced). I don't think so. Was one of the best RB's in the ...

Don't see him as any better than Alf, who was younger and we sold for cheaper. Surely 3 Million for us is better spent on someone younger with more potential.

Re: Blessing in Disguise

The cruel nature of the playoffs mean I'm devastated as a fan but, all circumstances considered, it's been a successful season. I'm very excited for the next one. Wouldn't call it a blessing though. Nasty feeling this ownership saga is going to drag for the entire summer though. Wouldn't blame any o...

On the upside Taylor had a good game after coming on. Kept us flowing a lot more than Akpan. Would love to see him and Williams develop a partnership next year.

Re: Burnley (H) Match Thread - Sponsored by 8 man Yeovil

its depressing to go from high on life to heartbroken in the span of a couple minutes. That's the beauty of football mate. Much better to suffer the odd last minute disappointment than the relentless beating that we would have taken every week if we had been promoted. That is simply not true...

Re: Financial Problems or not???

a) For all we know he does have the money to support the club, but for whatever reason has decided that RFC is no longer a viable business proposition b) How are they supposed to ensure that a foreign owner will be any more loyal than 25% of the club's existing fanbase? The FPPT, as far as I'm awar...
