Re: Leicester Reading match thread sponsored by promotion 2006

BonBoh Anyone else concerned that our strikers' goals have sort of dried up of late??

Seeing that we've only been playing one up front maybe we should be worried that Long's goals have dried up.

Gunnarsson just missed a very good chance.

Come on Reading, we can win this!

Re: Leicester Reading match thread sponsored by promotion 2006

Does anyone ever read Jonny Fordham's match tweets and think he hates his job?

He's always so negative but then again maybe that just shows he's a typical Reading fan.

Re: Leicester Reading match thread sponsored by promotion 2006

Who played the pass for Kebe's goal and his chance just now?

Sounded like two superb passes.

Re: Leicester Reading match thread sponsored by promotion 2006

PEARCEY
Smoking Kills Dancing Doe Get Fae back. Brian would turn him into the ball winning centre mid we thought we had signed....

How much did we sell Fae for in the end?

They never said but we can be sure we lost a considerable amount of money.

Re: Leicester Reading match thread sponsored by promotion 2006

I think I'm right in saying that Long and Gunnarsson are the only players from either side who were involved on 'that' day. Interesting that Jem is back. I thought Jake Taylor might be on the bench what with Marek, Henry, Cummings, Bignall and Thorvaldsson all still in Reading. Taylor also played f...

PEARCEY Really no surprises in that line-up.
No Marek on the bench though.

Played for the reserves instead.

Re: looking to the future

I said similar about not going up should we achieve the play offs and was shot down, as usual. Wherever we end up, we're going to lose some key players from this season - I would hope that the last of the parachute payment would be spent on their replacements - but I won't hold my breath. I thought...

I notice that Jonny Fordham is bringing up Millsgate again. (http://www.getreading.co.uk/sport/footb ... reading_fc)

Why can't everyone just move on.
