Re: Swift's new role

Yeah that’s generally how I see it with Ejaria also drifting out to the left. Both Swift and Ejaria have a decent shot on them so I presume they do that to cut in and have a go. I don’t know why Ejaria doesn’t shoot more personally, he gets the majority of his shots on target, yet he seems to prefe...

Hendo
Uke Colin departs Cardiff

Looks like the Cardiff fans are happy to see him go, but with a good sentiment - realising it is time for someone new but acknowledging what he did for them.

Guess he’ll rock up in the next half decent Championship vacancy - unless he finally decides to retire

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EI8cHWbXkAEf9k5?format=jpg&name=medium To the naked eye that looks like the defenders knee is playing him on. To make matters worse that wasn't even the cross from which they scored. I've not seen it yet but according to Durham and The Moose on TalkSport (I know, I k...

From Despair To Where? Pretty sure the only person on here calling Bowen a snake was reading4eva and just about everyone laughed at him for being a dick.

Twitter on the other hand, now that's populated almost entirely by dicks.

Agreed. The rest of us should just switch it off and leave them to it.

The Enfield Royal71
Old Man Andrews Is Bowen still a snake?

Isn't it funny that not 4 weeks ago, everybody on here, Twitter and Facebook were frothing at the mouths and calling him a snake. Now they are absolutely loving him.

The hypocrisy of our fans is unreal.

Would have been the same at any other club.

Re: BFTG - Luton

Swift is not the player Stam bought, he is certainly not the player of the last two seasons. In the last 2/3 games he’s played at the highest level and been effective, it’s like a new signing. And when he doesn’t work there’s Ejaria.... bit difficult for opposition to shutdown both of these players ...

In the 2005 season didn’t we just lose two League games ?Plymouth first game of the season, then Luton away late on ? I seem to recall it was on telly ? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_1/4703630.stm Remember getting one of those NOW TV passes to watch that game, think I missed our f...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Luton Town (h) sponsored by Sean Evers

:| oxf*rd hell, he's not that bad. It's come to a pretty pass when you're defending Gunts. I'm glad he's back in the senior squad, I don't think isolating him (or the others) was good for anybody. But I don't expect to see him unless Yids gets injured. And I fully expect him to leave in Janua...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Luton Town (h) sponsored by Sean Evers

We weren't great in some games though, the 0-0 Watford away and Southampton away spring to mind  Both Watford games were dire 0-0s. I remember Watford matches used to be a routine snorefest; looks like we may be facing them again next season based upon how things are going. Think we went somet...

When you look back it's not been as good as it should have, but it's not been bad and we've had plenty of appearances. Kuhl, Tshibola, Taylor, Hector, Cooper, Kelly, Tanner, Stacey, Fosu, Samuel, Keown, DIckie, Hyam, Obita, Watson, McIntyre, Osho, Richards, Olise, Barrett, Loader, Rinomhota, Ward, ...

Re: The Manager Sack Race/Merry-go-Round

Stoke fans not too impressed looking at their boards. Worried they are going down the Sunderland route of firing a manager and then turning to a relatively successful international manager to fix the problems when they aren't used to day to day management any more. Good record at Shamrock Rovers, t...

As we are remembering- especially on Sunday 11th, does anyone remember the big staircase by the East stand that went from the upper level to the lower level. if my memory serves me right, the top was somewhere near the jazz cafe. it was a big H & S no no(in hindsight) and didn`t last long !! Ye...

Anyone remember it ?? 1st match at the Madejski stadium versus Luton 22nd August 1998. We won 3-0 with Grant Brebner scoring the 1st goal. A repeat of the scoreline on Saturday would be nice. Yep. Didn't Fleck get one too? One of only two teams to beat us in the 106 season too. I saw both of them :...

As would some fans for any team in that position

As to the LC think a Leicester v Villa final could be good bet depending on how seriously Man City take things

Beijing Rehne’s last game of the season is against Dalian Yifang on 1st December. After that I presume Sone will return to Reading and be available for the Xmas period. Be interesting to see if he does become involved and if so whether things work out better for him under a manager who is a little b...
