Re: Gourlay out.

Chinese will let hem run out their contracts..........Gourlay Brian T Stam and rest of the backroom team will have very poor cvs if by end of 2018/19 all they have achieved is lower midtable especially with all the Hype and Cash spent. Pressure increases on them to make something of this by leaving ...

We're crap ..........but only 5 points worse off than we should be at this stage ... more stupid and pointless stats

To have a decent season (around playoffs with 77 pts) you need to get points as follows - Top 6 - draw at home lose away - 5 from this group assumign a top 6 finish) Second 6 - draw at home draw away - 12 pts from this group Third 6 - win at home draw away - 24 pts from this group Bottom 6 - win at ...

Re: Board of Directors - Look away now ...

Its an interesting presentation of accurate (to a degree data). The conclusions / facts to be drawn from this 1) Fact - Historically a selling club (JM without deep pockets) and managers / DOF have implemented that strategy. Backed up by excellent scouting and a good eye for a bargain 2) Conclusion ...

Re: In or Out?

In - too costly for the owners to make a change plus signed shed loads of Japps choices on long term contracts. No solution other than make this work. What is the problem ? Its been reiterated here many times - the incoherent lucky dip approach to transfers i.e 12 last season - half a waste of space...

Re: BFTG - Portsmouth (A)

Was there - everyone has a different game perspective - not helped by eyeballs in line with the players knees. Was looking forward to seeing some of the younger talent and see who could be pushing hard for a first team slot - but overall was pretty un-impressed. Wanted to see more from Samuel - wasn...

It it worth buying a sesaon ticket for 2016/7

Supporter since the stone age, fortunate enough to be able to afford season ticket. Is it worth it next year ? Well this year for various reasons (including boredom with turgid dross served up) I will have missed 7 of 23 league games - so economically hardly worth getting one Most of the games I hav...

Re: BFTG Huddersfield (H)

AAH - feel comfortable with him there of the two we have. Did ok Gunter - did ok Ferdinand - invisible 1st half grew into the game, but looked lost at times. Rusty McShane - should have got the physio on just before their 2nd - he struggled and they scored. Form is dropping off sadly Obita - dubious...

Ferdinand or Hector ?

Who should partner McShane now that Ferdinand is back fit. Talking to my sad statto alter-ego I'm told League 14 games Ferdinand starts 5 - win 2 draw 3 lose 0 ppg 1.8 Hector starts 9 - win 4 draw 2 lose 3 ppg 1.5 League Cup Doesn't make a fair reflection Ferdinand start 2 win both Hector start 2 wi...

Re: Do you rate Lucas Piazon?

Maybe a flair player but from what I have seen has no guts and will to work hard and win for the team. Petulant and pampered I think. As much a liability through his lack of any defensive contribution, I'm sure he has cost us as many goals as provided. Needs grafters behind him so he can take the gl...

Re: BFTG Rotherham (A)

What happened tonight from a team defensive perspective ? Prior to Rotherham from 11 league games the average shots / on-target was Royals 15.5/5 Opponents 6.9/1.9 Tonight we had 17/6 so par for the course, Rotherham had 19/6 that's 3 times the average-ish and the highest numbers of any team so far ...

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2014/15

Watched the whole game on BT - first time I have seen the much lauded U21s. I suppose all the recent better players have been moved "up" or out on loan - apart from Liburd (who is not a kid) and maybe Semedo no one looked remotely near ready for a 1st team cameo IMO. We looked promising up...

Very under rated IMO does a good job for the team and with the right encouragement could do well for us long term, he wants to play for the club which is a critical factor, not another mercenary journeyman

Re: Gunter resigned because......

He is one of our better players and pretty consistent.......still reckon he will sold, don't think the Thais will be pumping much/ any new cash into the squad. They will let the contract excesses work their way out of the system, target next year will be keep the finances under control and avoid rel...

Gunter resigned because......

Is it true the club took up their option to sign him, not the other way round? Why ......because he is worth money - Wales international, Premier League experience. Don't be surprised to see him sold. Along with McCleary and Hector...big rebuild needs cash to happen, we will be raising money in all ...

Evening Nobbers Millwall take 1 point from 2 games on Sat and Tues and we are safe before we play Birmingham on Wednesday. if not placed elsewhere already more interesting stat Adkins 21 game 25 pts -10 GD Clarke 21 games 22 pts -10 GD Not a particularly inspiring post - but its my first one, finall...
