Re: Rumour - Asamoah Gyan

Not sure if this more sums up the state of Sunderland but heading over to their forum and they love the bloke and would have him back in a heartbeat. Certainly when story broke yesterday he might be heading there they were quite excited by the news. Most of opinion he would "tear up" the ...

Re: And now Gunter...

From Despair To Where? I think it reflection on them thinking Joey we playing CB rather than anything Blackett did or didn't do, a question of them making assumptions from the team sheet.

Ah now that makes more sense.

Re: And now Gunter...

Well, Wales Online were impressed with Gunter at wing back.... http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/five-things-learned-cardiff-citys-11809293 Puzzling, that. They also seemed to think we played 3 centre backs? Wasn't at the game - but does that reflect on how little Blackett a...

Re: What is the point in HRK

Am I missing something here? Not sure what you might or might not be missing. As a free agent, he can sign any time. So if a club fails to land their target at the last minute, they'll have less choice once the window shuts as they won't be able to go for anybody that is still in contract to a club...

Re: What is the point in HRK

A week left of the transfer window, and then he is also a free agent so the days following that he could also become more sought after. Could easily just be playing the game to get himself the best deal. Am I missing something here? Not sure what you might or might not be missing. As a free agent, ...

Re: BFTG . Brighton

AthleticoSpizz even saw Gunter take a caution today.......

next we will be moaning on here about the team showing too much passion

You say that like it's unusual, but he had the highest yellows last season. They can't all be for him moaning.

Re: BFTG Newcastle (A)

possession is all well and good at home, but we need to play on the break away from home. we were never going to be good enough to turn up at away grounds and dominate the game. and also its pretty clear that teams just too a quick look at our possession game, and came up with relatively simple way...

Re: The Egg chasers relegation

They pay £150,000 a year to destroy the pitch, costs £500,000 to relay the special plastic enhanced pitch, where's the value Where on earth do those figures come from? They pay £600,000 per year AND share the costs for the pitch repair/relay every year. We'll be lucky if renaming the stadium brings...

Re: Linked with a Slovenian winger

Sutekh Good ploy, get enough wingers in the squad and every game we play one of them must be on form. Cant think why no-one else has tried it before....

For all the Irish users of this forum:

All we need is a team of wingereens , a team of wingereens, a team of wingereens

Re: BTFG Wolves

The difference is I just get the impression we have a bigger plan overall, a more focused direction under Stam. My only concern is do we have good enough players to do it? On yesterday's showing no, but only time will tell. A midfield combination of Evans\Willams\Swift is too soft. Williams isn't t...

Re: And now Gunter...

Would be happy with a swap deal with Cyrus Christie. But overall don't want to lose Gunter for just north of a mil, think it would be a steal. I suspect that release clause is an insurance to prevent him ending up in a situation like Liam Moore's, where his club seems to want neither to play him no...

NewCorkSeth
Royal_jimmy linked with Derby now

And follow in the fine footsteps of Pearce and Blackman?

Is he better than Cyrus Christie? Or is it just Derby's random player generator transfer policy in action again?

Re: MATCHWATCH : Plymouth Argyle (h) sponsored by 3-0 down, 4-3 up

Haven't seen enough of him to judge, but he did get taken to the Netherlands and got a couple of games out there I think? Though, tbf, that may well have been lack of viable alternatives! And just checked - he wasn't given a squad number. On the fringes, I guess. But can't be sent out on loan presu...
