Re: Victor Anichibe - Free Agent

In his best season he managed just six goals - no thanks He's only ever played in the Premier League so his experience could be valuable, could tear up the Championship as well with the right team around him. Last player we had that people were confidently predicting would tear up the Championship ...

Re: End Of Season HNA? Brian Confidence Poll...

Should have left the poll running. SACK. Lovely guy, a real gent, but with a much depreciated budget, huge changes to the squad this summer, unrealistically high expectations from the Thai's, and so many kids likely to bolster the first-team squad, he has no chance! Tactically I'm not convinced eit...

Re: How impressed are you with BMcD's return to the club?

Earlier within one of the thousands of "I love Brian" posts from Top Flight he referred to Gunter as a decent Championship full-back. IIRC we paid something like £2,000,000 to sign a Premier League full-back and most of us seem to feel that we, Spurs and Forest all thought this player was...

Re: Frank De Boer

Rumours circulating that Frank De Boer is coming in to replace McDermott. Why on earth would somebody like Frank De Boer want to manage Reading? Some "fans" of this club are utterly delusional. When we get somebody from Ajax, it's a young unproven youth team manager. Because that is our l...

Re: How impressed are you with BMcD's return to the club?

royalp-we I'd love to be a yoyo club. 2 seasons is so overrated. I'd like like nothing more than to be yoyo'ing with the man BMcD himself.

I dream of being a yoyo club.*

Re: It it worth buying a sesaon ticket for 2016/7

I personally don't mind not hearing the people around me, as they are all Stone Island mouthbreathing thundercunts. +1000 I just wish I could block out the shitehawk behind me who insists on giving a running update of the scores in every other game. It would be nice to be able to watch MOTD without...

Yeah I'm not sure what you mean there. . those in the screechy and reactionary - manager out- lets make a banner-lets boo our own team- camp tend to be the most strident and loud in expressing their views. Theyre the ones that phone up the radio stations and start threads on FB/Twitter groups etc. ...

Re: Squad 16/17

Theres another way of looking at it. Maybe RFC didnt get the best out of Antonio + Ofobe but other clubs did. Notts Forest, Sheff Wed fans thought we were mad to sell him. Antonio didnt want to leave he was sold because we thought he was not good enough and could not guarantee him first Team Footba...

Re: Squad 16/17

With Kuhl, it could just be the wrong club, after all we made Antonio and Afobe look bang average at this level and now look at them. Easily one of the stupidest things I've ever read on here, and that takes some doing. Oh I'm sorry, I didn't realise Antonio and Afobe looked Premier League quality ...

Re: It it worth buying a sesaon ticket for 2016/7

I honestly think that if the club brought all adult season ticket prices down to £200 then the worse case scenario would be that it costs the club maybe £1.5M in total. I think that positives of having more people in the ground would outweigh that. A £375 investment across nine months is just over ...

Re: It it worth buying a sesaon ticket for 2016/7

So it might go up or stay the same ... presumably it might also go down. So that's a pretty decent prediction - the only outstanding option is that they abolish STs altogether. They've gone up, stayed the same, and gone down! Adult tickets frozen in Lower West and East, up by £25 in Upper West, dow...

Re: Never know how to lose

Absolute nonsense. Everyone knows Leicester's success is a result of digging up Richard III and planting him somewhere else. So we know what to do. Rother Royal - we've got a job for you! Don't they reckon the remains of Henry II are buried somewhere under the prison still. Now if they could be fou...

Re: Hull ( H) Predictions

A glorious victory. McD has this team playing great stuff only to be scuttled by individual mistakes. Tomorrow night the stars will align and the good people of the football world will marvel at Reading's 4-0 win. Evans, Quinn, Vydra and Cox get the goals, but in truth, this stylish display of foot...

Sutekh No they have not. They are facing charges from the FA but the bans have not been confirmed as yet as far as I am aware.

They have accepted the charges.

You DONT need your passport end of. Just in case anybody is thinking of travelling, a lot of the airlines (including Ryanair) insist on passports. However for sea crossings you just need a form of id (so, drivers licence will do fine) [OffTopicAndNothingToDoWithFootball] Do I feel a foreigner here?...

Except he doesn't really do that much running. I vote that after HRK inevitably swans off in the summer, we use that for Jordan Obita instead.

Is there already an Obita chant?
