Re: BFTG - Luton

yep agreed. Fair to say Swift was good pretty much all the time under Gomes last season, but has certainly stepped it up a level this year.

Fitness, confidence, correct system, Ejaria, responsibility? Its probably a bit of all of those things combined.

Re: Rival Watch

‘Ending pretty comfortably’ is where I see our season finishing up.

Ie not near relegation or promotion

Re: Rival Watch

I’m not sure tbh. Certainly some were quite scathing about our first half performance there, and Hudders being in a compete rut I thought the WBA performance was a very good one, but think this was very much us being on top of our game There was always the fear that if other teams stopped the ball g...

Re: Rival Watch

think sustainable is a good word for our current form. Found one of the most interesting comments from Moore about the previous set up as 'having to be absolutely on top of their game to get the win' or something similar. It feels we can play averagely but still get the 3 points comfortably with the...

Re: Rival Watch

Someone suggested Meite scored one last year, but I couldn’t place it

I think you might be right about Millwall. Baldock scores one a bit earlier vs Villa but can’t think of any more

Re: Swift's new role

Really don’t think we need any more new players tbh - plenty in reserve

Obvs changes if we sell someone decent

Re: BFTG - Luton

Coming off the bench really doesn’t seem to suit Meite tbh. As said many times, he needs a run in the side

I think I’d rather Joao over him on the bench most of the time

Re: The idiots of Twitter thread

I do think he seems to have one or two muppets on twitter get to him a little tbh

95% of the fans were supportive of him whether they genuinely think he is still good enough to be here or not. Even most who said he should be moved on appreciated what he has done here

Re: Swift's new role

Really impressed by him this year, he is excellent

And yes, definitely fitter and stronger. And putting himself about more - he is Prem standard on current form

Be interesting to see if any suitors in January if he keeps it up

Re: The idiots of Twitter thread

The lads on twitter are really being pathetic about the McCleary situation. A consummate professional who has endured a real challenge in a difficult part of his career has just scored for us rounding of a great win and they are having a go at him. The mind boggles. It’s basically just that cretin ...

Re: Rival Watch

Snowflake Royal
URZZZZ Preston have had 8 penalties so far this season! Is it me or is that extremely high for this stage of the season?

They spend half the game rolling around on the floor, so I guess it's inevitable the refs will fall for a few.

Yep that’s no real surprise tbh

Old Man Andrews Is Bowen still a snake?

Isn't it funny that not 4 weeks ago, everybody on here, Twitter and Facebook were frothing at the mouths and calling him a snake. Now they are absolutely loving him.

The hypocrisy of our fans is unreal.

Not as funny as your lame attempts to wind people up
