Re: Champions League/Europa League 2019/20

Really? Define the lower division side - Welsh Premier V League 2 who is lower? League 2 of the higher UEFA Coefficient league or the Welsh top flight? Scottish Prem v Championship - who is Lower? Championship is probably the stronger division but Scots Prem is again the top flight. Where is in the...

Re: Champions League/Europa League 2019/20

Not sure where the interest would be in a British Cup to be honest. Would you be that interested if we get to the first "national" round and get drawn at home to Inverness, Linfield or Barry Town? Only interesting tie would be home or away (pref away) to either of Celtic or Rangers - and ...

UEFA pushing us further towards a 'European super league' saying that, I have said many time that I am bang up for a complete change to the League Cup. Re: The Manager Sack Race/Merry-go-Round

Spanish press say that Xavi turned down the job at Barca so they have agreed to give it to Quique Setien, who is the bloke who took Betis up to 6th a couple of years back. No official announcement on anything yet I think.

Rumours for days of Xavi taking over at Barcelona. The Sporting Director at his current club in Qatar just confirmed they are talking to Barca about a compensation package so he can go there.

Re: European Leagues Thread 2012/2013

More than 47 million teams entered this year. I admire your enthusiasm for the coupe but I can't imagine that's right that's according to some football journalists on a podcast I listened to last night. I was aware that an absolutely crazy amount of teams entered. They gave an official number. I wi...

URZZZZ Swindon’s only goalscorer recalled back to Bradford. Interesting development especially as the player himself said he didn’t want to go back

Re: VAR

Isnt a big part of cup competitions the unlevel playing field? Not from a refereeing perspective. Completely agree with URZzz different ru...
