Millwall apparently been the stronger second half.

It's dire listening though.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall Reserves (h) sponsored by Sky Sports cup draw comedy

Does anyone else get the feeling there's no point in tuning in to the first half of Reading matches? Check in at half time to see if we're losing, otherwise it'll have been a dull 0-0 so far. Reading last scored in the first half of a game at Burton Albion, that's now 8 games ago. Therefore this co...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall Reserves (h) sponsored by Sky Sports cup draw comedy

So who's at left back? Quinn, Evans, Ilori, Andresson, Bacuna? I like this, room to blood youngsters like Andresson, Rinomhota and Smith, game time for Bacuna, and Jaakkola - fitness tests for Quinn and McCleary. Some experience in midfield to go with the youth. Ilori given a test to lead at the cen...

Re: Still not received Season Ticket

Been supporting Reading since 1959 and been a season ticket holder since 2001-2002 season but this season has been a disaster in that myself, wife & daughter still haven't received our new season tickets, just wondering how widespread this is.I have to keep ringing the ticket office to find out w...

Re: Still not received Season Ticket

Jackie Evans is the supporter liason officer, very good at getting things resolved from all accounts. Try sending her a nice e-mail jevans@readingfc.co.uk I second this. She is superb. She's a friend of the 'fan' and understands our psyche! As such, she is a great asset for Reading Football Club. +...

Re: CheLOLsea

Someone told me it's one of the reasons Chelsea fans stopped singing at Liverpool about winning stuff without killing anyone. Bit hard to sing that when you have an actual irl bloke in your team who has killed. That would be astounding evidence of a degree of self-awareness in Chelsea fans hitherto...

Feel like we're setting ourselves up for a huge lol right now if they stay up.. . Not really, I hope they stay up... or at least get relegated if we go up. Anything to avoid going to that shithole in the arshole of nowhere. Brighton will get relegated. It's almost a dead cert. People said the same ...

Re: The Stam passing game

I think it's a get better change. I'd quite happily see one sub take us from Mannone Gunter, McShane, Moore, Blackett Swift, Bacuna, Kelly Popa, Clement, Barrow To Mannone McShane, Moore, Blackett Popa, Swift, Bacuna, Kelly, Barrow Clement, Mendes Taking ysterday as an example. But I'm not sure I'd ...

Re: Injury watch 2017-18 season

We should be alright if McCleary / Mendes and Berg are fit to replace them short term. Clement should be able to cover for Swift and Berg for Kelly.

But three midfielders out at once is shit.

Re: The Stam passing game

I've been watching Reading for many years and this is without doubt the most boring non entertaining type of football and team I've seen. The team maybe more skillful than teams we've had in the past but I'd rather see a team attack more have a go and lose rather than today against Preston where ac...

Re: The Stam passing game

Passing game is fine. Though as was the case today. Too many poor passes were made. Players having too many touches before moving the ball on. A lack of tempo in our play. An inability to stretch the opposition defence. When the passing game doesn't work or we do find ourselves a goal down. What's ...

Re: Back From The Match - Preston

I dont think any striker worth their sort will come to us as we don't play with an attacker in mind. Especially as Stam does not seem to like out and out strikers. How did he get on with dwight Yorke and Andy Cole? When he was at man utd. Worth their salt. The rest of it isn't much more accurate ei...
