Re: MATCHWATCH : Birmingham City (a)

We are a limited side which is perfectly understandable. We really should not be anywhere near the play offs. We just need to scramble enough points to avoid being dragged into the bottom three. was just reminding myself of the same; how many feared we'd be in the bottom 3 at this time. Keep the ho...

Re: Rival Watch

3points let's also not forget the huge amount of defensive work that Tom Ince puts in as well when compared to Swift from previous seasons and a good defence starts from the front

Re: Rival Watch

We’re a much better, stronger, balanced and fitter side than last year all round (and we’re still not great) Hendrick has played a role in that but it’s a bit of a stretch to suggest he is why we’re conceding a lot less goals According to the bbc, when we played wba and lost this time last year we ...

Re: Rival Watch

Hendrick is a rock in the position he plays. How that goes unnoticed amazes me. You only have to look at how solid we are now and ask yourself why particularly as its a similar defence to last year. Just because some users on here think Laurent, Rhinomota and Swift had cool hairstyles, wore nice tr...

Re: Rival Watch

Hendrick gets caught on the ball far too often. It's caused us a number of issues - including at least one goal. Probably more. His positioning is poor. He is so often bypassed Hutchinson and Fornah would be my preferred choice Hendrick offers little goal threat Most of his attempts have been awful...

Re: Injury watch 2022/23

We could lose Sarr, Mbengue and McIntyre through injury and Ince would still persist on a back three of Fornah, Meite and Carroll lol!!!! I'm so over this back three lark...  None of our two up top pairings seem to work together and we have no attacking threat whatsoever...change to a 4-...

Re: Injury watch 2022/23

Can see both starting on Friday- TMac and Sarr. I think TMac will be on the bench with Sarr, Mbengue and Yids as the back three. Re: Injury watch 2022/23

So it looks like TMac and/or Sarr are coming back into the XI, with the other being on the bench alongside Dann potentially (assuming both don't start which they might do). Hutch and Holmes have plenty of time for Swansea at home then along with Dann as well, so that looks more promising and then w...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Birmingham City (a)

Good presentation as always Suturzz. I think Brum have only won three at home this season so we could get something from this although looking at some of the games this ref has officiated sends shivers down my spine.

Fancy this to be 1-1.

Re: Rival Watch

Stranded
Royals and Racers Won’t it be great if West Brom get relegated- 1-0 down at Sunderland

2-1 up in injury time. 4th win in a row if it stays like this.

More chance of a play-off push than relegation.

Just about to say this. They were never going down. They just may end up going up.

Re: Rival Watch

Agree, although I think that's where we are as a team really at the moment. A team (and style) more suited to the Championship. How many "technical" players do we really have? Ejaria, Joao and Fornah? Maybe include Rahman on that list as well? Ejaria rightly comes in for criticism for his...

Re: Rival Watch

Certainly don’t create a lot from open play. Any team will find it hard to defend decent set pieces against the likes of Holmes, Sarr, Carroll, Meite, Loum and McIntyre as has been shown in the last two games Agree, although I think that's where we are as a team really at the moment. A team (and st...

Re: Rival Watch

We’d have to go on a fairly poor run for a while to be dragged in. With the CBs basically back fit (Dann and Azeez playing for u21 today apparently) we actually have a pretty decent squad. We have the ability to always nick a goal, especially from set pieces so think we’ll be comfortable Spotted ou...
