Re: Back to the Mad Stad

So 2.000 fans it is then, will be interesting how the the club do this. Name of retainer payee goes into the magic hat, VP spends a morning drawing 2000 names, those names not drawn remain in magic hat for next the home game (presuming the govt. don’t ban us all again) Gets interesting thoug...

You say that but the link has been shared and I bet most replying here clicked the link. You click, they get paid. Job. Done. Sad but true, though you can usually tell from the “headline” whether it’s going to be a load of pointless drivel or not. In this case that’s certainly true and you must kno...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Ricky Newman

South Country Royal touched on something earlier about Bournemouth's speed hurting us down the flanks. If i remember correctly from the days Bournemouth were steam rollering the championship and then being the upstarts in the Premiership it was the sheer pace they had in there squad and the speed a...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bristol City (h) sponsored by Scott Murray

Olise is a huge source of goals (4 assists, 2 goals in 9(4)) so I think he's worth the occasional soft game disappointing game. I think Semedo could be a great sub. He can come in and add a bit more steel to the forward line without losing a lot of creativity, and we don't have to worry about him f...

Re: BTFF Millwall

Baffled by some of the low marks for Olise. He was only on the pitch for 45 minutes and managed an assist and nearly got another. He was our only creative outlet.
I thought both Ejaria and Meite were poor and Semedo looked lost. Richards had a sluggish start but in the second half he was outstanding.

He did well tonight. One terrific save and several other clean saves. Hopefully this will boost his confidence.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Ricky Newman

Stopped the rot is the positive but some piss poor performances in there, with Semedo and Ejaria both hopeless. Olise too clever for his own good, no point doing the flash stuff when he so often messes up the simple stuff. Holmes was excellent. Olise did well. An assist. Could have had another one ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Ricky Newman

It’s a perfectly decent result but disappointing we didn’t kick on in the second half after the equaliser.
Good to see Rafael doing so much better.
Anything we created in the second half came through Olise.
Semedo is a bench option only.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Ricky Newman

Think I might bring Baldock for Ejaria now. Bit of extra running. Good for holding on and might sneak us something with some movement. Holmes lost his man again there, but not punished. Yikes. I’d also take off Meite for Aluko. Holmes not so good second half. Richards terrific in the second period.

Snowflake Royal Esteves moment from Holmes there. Top save from Rafa.

That's surely a pen?

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Ricky Newman

Must. Not. Concede. Another. We're always capable of scoring, but if we go gung ho or hand them another, we're buried. Too many loose touches and miscontrols in attack just causing promising situations to dribble away. Ejaria and Semedo particularly guilty, but also Joao and Meite. Millwall are qui...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Ricky Newman

For all the talk by the commentators around how average, slow, run of the mill Millwall are, they have been better than us. Too many players not performing, Front four appalling and overall play negative just aimlessly passing around the back before Morrison hoofs it and gives it away. Awful. Yep M...
