Re: Rival Watch

Not so rich that they haven't gone into administration twice. And their history consists of fcuk all before Revie turned up (OK, maybe 1 Division 2 title) and 1 title since. Only Forest are more defined by 1 man. But to be fair apart from the 106 points we have no history whatsoever. Not strictly t...

Re: BFTG - Forest

The camera angle doesn't show it well enough. According to Bowen the Forest players said it was out as well. Enjoyed Bowen’s interview, but took that comment with a pinch of salt. Interestingly my forest mate was complaining about how dirty Reading were, thinks we are the dirtiest side in the divis...

Re: BFTG - Forest

Blackett had a great game, shame he didn’t get the goal in.

The linesman near our goal who awarded the non-corner wants shooting. Slowly.

Cabral getting a yellow. The florists celebrating the Champions League. Then own goal. Shame, would have been epic if it was Puscas.

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

Back on topic - are people seriously suggesting Blackpool is a better place to live than Reading? Can you rent a room in Reading with a sink you can piss in, and get a cooked breakfast with tinned tomatoes and fried bread for £12 or less? Thought not, case dismissed. Bet that fact alone helps...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

 Any sources on the infamous Thames Valley mist disease? A quick google search didn't return anything. I think you will find that because of the low-lying nature of the area ( the clue is in "valley") pulmonary problems are higher than in other areas unless of course you live in Tile...

Re: BFTG - Blackpool

Bowen went down in my opinion today after such a good run was it really necessary to make 17 changes? Even the subs needed a break. We have a free week next week could a few first teamers at least not been on the bench? We our 14th not 4th. So this talk of play offs is way premature lose the two ga...

Plan B presence / absence of, will be revealed next time Swift can’t play. We seem to have a stable team, but both defensively and offensively, Swift is the one connecting all the dots.

NewCorkSeth Enjoyed the shit out of that. Have shit eyesight so missed a fair but in the second half. Looked like Rafael pulled off 2 fantastic saves to keep us in it. Happy days.

Glad you liked the show.. Mrs SD has a lot of my underwear to wash, now. Epic.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Preston North End (a) sponsored by Martin Allen

Amazing to watch on the Sky app, except for northern pronunciations probably intentionally wrong: Iaria, Youau..they just about managed Swift. So much better defensively than even against Derby. Though Gunter is scary to watch. A lot less rolling around on the ground holding heads from PNE. Odd, that.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Queens Park Rangers (h) sponsored by a Merry Christmas to one and all

What do you mean? My bus certainly wasn't empty - and I was glad to have it - I wouldn't have been able to get there without it. My son came in from town on an F1, he said it was pretty raucous, which is hard if it's empty... Ok we came up about an hour before kick-off (as regular busses stopped at...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Queens Park Rangers (h) sponsored by a Merry Christmas to one and all

2nd half Gunter looked a liability defensively, as did Blacket. Neither can defend, which is terrifying when you're trying to hold onto a win. Sky showed a compilation of Eze brilliance which was actually just a compilation of Gunter failing to put any sort of challenge in whilst running backwards ...

Re: BFTG QPR

I was thinking of going to this, but I had a lot on today. But I went anyway. My first game in a while, and first time in the South Stand since Club 1871 became a thing. I’m not 100% supportive of the increasing ultra style support in British football, but have to admit that the Reading scene in th...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Queens Park Rangers (h) sponsored by a Merry Christmas to one and all

Gunters looked class  Adams looking generally good. Ejaria looking too ponderous and slowing play down. Swift hit and miss. Overall impressed though - QPR have had next to nothing. We'll lose 1:0. 2nd half Gunter looked a liability defensively, as did Blacket. Neither can defend, which is te...

Re: BFTG - Derby

Lucky in so far as the first 5 minutes gave us a platform that we had to all but intentionally throw to lose. We contrived to look like drawing/losing with the next 40 minutes. ...but then Wigan on a red held Leeds quite nicely for 76 Minutes in April, putting a nail in the coffin of the latter’s p...
