Hendo I seem to remember this guy ripping us to shreds once...

Re: Any player you recall who virtually beat us on their own.

One I remember vividly was Thierry Henry. I remember when they beat us 4-0 that was the only time I've ever watched Reading be dismantled by a player and a team. He is the best player I've seen play with my eyes live.

Shaun Cummings was kind of one for me. He was actually good when he played and got a lot of praise.

Most underrated/"does a job" player for Reading?

Somebody who is there and always put a shift in but never got a mention, but always performed relatively decent. Somebody like a Matt Holland of Ipswich and Charlton or Carrick...

I will go for Gunnarson, Andy Hughes, Chris Makin and John Oster.

Re: Season Ticket Refund?

Anybody who gets a season ticket for the dross of RFC deserves to lose out that money tbh. Surely this is a better use of the money you spend on a ST then actually going to games?

Re: Worst ever Reading FC X1

McIntyre was unlucky to not get a new contract. He did ok. We iirc McIntyre was diabolical played upfront, but when he moved back a bit actually did quite well. He is probably the third name on my personal worst ever XI, partly for not being the type of striker who scores goals and partly for his p...

you wouldn't know that though would you, on account of not actually having ever attended a game back then, or lived in Reading.

Re: Worst ever Reading FC X1

This is a team that will get you relegated all the way to league 2 or worse. All players selected need to have been part of the team. Picking a player that perhaps made an appearance in a 'Sherpa Van Trophy" cup tie does not count, these players have to have had a run in the team to be selecte...

Looks like my local team are about to die.

Council won't stop their rent so they are still forced to pay. I'm fundraising this weekend for them.
