Re: Exeter away August 1990

Still one of the worst away ends in english football....but, on a positive, it's only a short drive home. Is there much of a Royals ex-pat community in the English riviera? It's growing.... One in Paignton, one in Exeter and yesterday a Reading jacket spotted in the Torquay branch of the Range........

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wigan Athletic (h) sponsored by Nicky Forster

Absolutely passionless, abject, disjointed and lack lustre...............did well not to swear there.

To think I almost made the effort tonight to get down there. Already thinking my ticket for next week is over priced at a tenner.....

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wigan Athletic (h) sponsored by Nicky Forster

This is weak. We look void of ideas once we cross the half way line.

Wigan definitely showing that they want it more at the moment. Big HT team talk required from Bowen.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Leeds United (a) sponsored by Simon Church

In the words of Neil Mellor............"Reading have offered little" :-( Still think Wednesday is a pretty big game, lose that one and the distance to the relegation zone is two games again... Wednesday is a really big game and I'm gutted that, for once, I can't arrange to be in Reading f...

Re: BFTG - Baggies

Poor performance and whilst some on Twitter are applauding a gritty performance, be under no illusions, this could and should have been a heavier defeat. Pele and Raphael were ok. Ejaria and Swift really need a rest The defence was ok but too much reliance on trying to play out from the back and bec...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Hull City (h) sponsored by Billy Whitehurst

Last time I went to Hull, the city centre reeked of bleach.

I'm guessing the locals were having their annual wash.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (a) sponsored double header part 2

No point anybody trying to pick a formation & selection from the current squad.

What's needed is a few departures, a few arrivals and then we can pick our teams.

Utter dross being served up currently and already dreading my next game at the MadStad versus WBA next week.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (a) sponsored double header part 2

This season is in danger of fizzling out if they lose this.

I guess I'd take mid table at the start of the season but considering how promising things looked pre Christmas, it's lost it's fizz quickly...

As I write this, we've just conceded again..............FFS

Re: BFTG Bristol citeh.

Ejaria - decent first half then AWOL in the second. Swift - poor, caught in possession too often or misplaced passes Puscas - static and contributed nothing......replaced by Baldock (yay) who proceeded to contribute nothing either Nobody else stood out for me, good or bad. The goal?...........shambo...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Eamon Dunphy

Millwall, under Rowett, was always going to be a tough game but the reaction of some is staggering. The modern culture seems to be to revel in the shock and disgust at anything that happens. Get a grip people. Talk of play off places is very optimistic and Bowen is still working with an inherited sq...
