Re: MATCHWATCH : Swansea City (h)

Heard that this was the club's first 4-4 draw since 1959. Not sure that's true or not (not counting Cup games) but certainly first one I've witnessed.

Quite a few 4-3's including Huddersfield this season albeit defeat, Donny when 3-1 down, the Rougier match, Plmouth before my time but never a 4-4.

This is exactly the type of signing we should be looking at.

Re: Injury watch 2021/22

Did anyone else notice that Morrison was helping out the coaching staff on the pitch prior to the game- wearing his knee brace Fair play as doubt he will play again, could be a very decent coach. Not your usual optimism Stranded. Morrison implied when working on the Bournemouth game for TV t...

Re: 150th Anniversary Thread - 2021/22

Which team would Federici turn out for? Any other players crossed over both teams?

Potentially Shorey although he rejoined after promotion. I'd guess Shane Long would know quite a lot of players from both teams.

Re: 150th Anniversary Thread - 2021/22

Reading FC has now got a website:- royals150.co.uk showing details of our history and also the events that are planned. The event that catches my eye is a match on Sat. May 21st 2022, Coppell v McDermott. Who would Hobnobbers want to see in that match? Would it be the two promotion teams (as far as...

Re: BFTG - Barnsley

im pretty sure they implemented the 10 yard rule for league and cup games for one season only . Probably around 2004 I think.

Or I may be making it up

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (h)

I'm also looking forward to us getting three penalties, missing two of them thanks to Hunt and Harte and scoring the third thanks to Hal.

Maybe we will be getting a last minute header from Jimmy Kebe from 2 inches out after Khilisivili gets a red card

Looking forward to seeing Joey belting one in from 25 years out.

Failing that James Harper hopelessly giving the ball away on the half way line

Re: BFTG - Peter's Borough

Interesting to see that after we scored we seemed to have a shoot on goal policy. I can't recall a game in recent times where in many instances in around the box we took the shot on rather than play a pass. Obviously worked with the third goal

Re: Catering outside Stadium

Plenty of good food on offer Broad Street on Saturday pre game. Blue Collar finest. Double Barreled with the beer!

Just a little stroll to the ground thereafter

Jagermesiter1871 Why did the club get rid of Blue Collar again? Was incredible. The only time I've ever bought anything other than beer at the stadium.

Re: Current team v. 2005 team

The current team would slaughter the 2005 lot. For a start everyone bar Long has retired or playing toy town football
