Let's face it. Americans know nothing about football.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Port Vale (a)

Terry Bullivant is back in disguise. I'm hopping mad. There was so much optimism last year when we had a load of youngsters taking the team to the brink of the play offs. Richardson is a terrible appointment. The owners have had the wool pulled over their eyes.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wycombe Wanderers (h)

The amount of crosses we allowed them to make. Poor decision making. Inability to keep the ball. Weird unfathomable goal kick routine. The performances are going backwards atm. We were extremely lucky today. We won't get anywhere near the playoffs unless we start improving all-round play.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Exeter City (h)

God, that was undeserved ! https://cdn.fussballeuropa.com/img/player/4323.png Quite possibly the worst half of football seen under Leam so far. Hope he has some answers and can get something resembling a positive performance out of the squad in the second half. Thought we were improved 10 mins befo...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Exeter City (h)

Too many new players. We're not gelling. Just like starting with a new team as at the beginning of the season. Continuity matters a lot.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Leyton Orient (a)

We tend not to do well after a long break. Although, you'd think we'd be fresh, we lose that kind of sharpness that only playing matches can bring. Anyway, hopefully I'm wrong and a win would certainly make us the League:s form team.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Peterborough United (a)

Only saw the highlights and read the match thread. It seems to me though that for all their dominance, Peterborough really only had one or two clear cut chances. There's a different style being played by Reading under the LR but they are showing resilience, which can be worth a fair few points and f...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (h)

A positive is that this team is difficult to beat. 2 defeats in the last 13. Too many draws of course but not many teams get 3 points from us. You feel it needs a tweak or 2 tactically, a bit of confidence and then kick on.

Kinda like Abrefa but feel he does have that mistake in him. That was a good dynamic performance. Real bite in the 1st half. There's some good signs. 1 defeat in 8 in league I believe.

Pat Earles was the scorer in the Bishop Stortford cup defeat in the mud! 2931 in attendance. Reading team: Fearon, Williams, White, Beavon, Hicks, Wood, Bason, Stant, Dixon, Doherty, Donnellan. I remember the game and the squad well but for some reason i cannot remember the guy called Bason? Anyone...
