Re: Birmingham prediction thread

I'd go home with a smile if we showed any sign of scoring let alone win!

Another long afternoon of looking down the table rather than up I fear. 0-2 to brum

Re: Nottingham Forest Match thread sponsored by Steve McClaren

I was half right at least, said home win but I at least thought we'd have some chances to miss!! We seem to have all the creativity of armish designer in a room full of grey!

Re: Nottingham Forest Match thread sponsored by Steve McClaren

Typical, we play teams on horrendous loosing steaks and get turned over and we play teams who concede first half goals by the dozen and come up blank.. Why do we always make such hard work of everything!

Re: Forest Predictions

Far too positive on here for me. I think this is a potential banana skin, team on the up against our average at best squad.. Home win with royals missing at least eight first half chances and having a stonewall pen appeal turned down

Re: Aldershot rivalry

All this want for renewals of old rivalries is all arse water.. Football is a different beast and let's face it, for 99.99% of modern reading fans, creating an atmosphere is a challenge let alone an old school 'firm' battle!

Re: Back from the games-saints

We need a new LB. Sorry but Mills was useless. What the hell are you on!? I have to agree with this, I think he was plainly to blame for their equaliser (not spotting nor going with the obvious run from De Ridder) and his distribution was poor. That said I think it would be better not to have Kanu ...

Re: Back from the games-saints

I noticed one thing. Joesph Mills seems to insist on having the J. on the back on his shirt next to Mills. Is he trying to tell us that he is nothing like M. Mills?!? Who has obviously left, but unnecessarily find the need to add a "J." next to his surname when there is no other Mills. Ch...

Re: Back from the games-saints

Mills is not perfect by miles and makes a number of poor naive decisions but he is young and new to the reading way and I can honestly see improvement in him already from when he joined. The fact Harte was done for pace twice in the ten minutes he was on today set my thoughts in stone, he should nev...

Re: Back from the game - Derby

If ever proof was needed that the public should never be listened to.. Drop mills for Harte? How short are your memories?? Cause I can vividly recall the numerous times Harte has been shafted for pace in the last six months.. Odd how the number of crosses into the box has halved since mills inclusion!

Re: Federici - the best keeper in the Championship?

Player of the month so far, three clear goal chances for boro today all resulting in world class saves. Plus he's now taking greater control of the back four and telling them what's going on.. I think reading fans just love to hate

As we can't keep a clean sheet there will certainly be goals for sure, as boro have the meanest defence in the league however I can only see these goals being one way

Re: Bristol City (A) Official Match Thread

Do we focus on the positive, take three points in a fantastic manner and move on Or still be concerned we were battered for an hour by yet another struggling team and any other team in this league would have been five up againt our leaderless 'team' by the time jobi scored. No point in bashing those...

Re: Coventry (A) Match thread, sponsored by Punxsutawney Phil

Whats worrying for me is our start has been easy on paper ( yes it's not about paper but the pitch and the championship is never easy) and we haven't even started to get into the difficult teams or the two games a week slog.. These dropped points from 'easy' games could well come back to haunt when ...

Re: The One Thing Missing?

I think this is one factor yes, however it's not the only one and that's the crux of it all.. There's a number of things that aren't quite right. Last year legs came in looking like the 'get stuck in' midfield general we'd been missing since sidwell. Because of that jem could play with freedom. This...
