Re: Rival Watch

Old Man Andrews All jokes aside Leeds looking superb against Arsenal thus far.

Hurts me to say being married to a Leeds supporting Yorkshire lass but they certainly look impressive. Bit more composure up front and they could have had this sewn up.

Re: VAR

Because there are potentially replays my take is that VAR should only be used if available in both legs.

Victor Meldrew One cautionary note on sacking managers-Charlton.
Weren't they around 10th in the Premier League when they decided that Curbishley could take them no further?

7th, and exactly how much further we’re they ever going to get? (miracles a la Leicester hadn’t been invented back then)

Re: Royals on the Box/Internet Thread

It was bloody annoying watching Sky Sports with a box in the lower right of the screen advertising ALL Championship games on the red button.

Re: The Manager Sack Race/Merry-go-Round

Looks like Nigel Pearson has come into being favourite for the Watford job. Bit late to this one but what an exceptional appointment this is. Really goes to show how careless we were in missing out and siding with Bowen when a man of Pearson's calibre was available. They very nearly won the game at...

Not an ex player technically but an interview with McDermott and Ady Williams

An excellent listen thoroughly recommend. Going for the Kitson one next.

AthleticoSpizz Looks like most of the problematic ‘fans’ (ironically dressed in black) have left the ground.

4-0 Sterling

Early beers or home? Let’s hope I was wrong.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (h) sponsored by Adam Federici

How the oxf*rd can we get Ejaria, Swift and Rinomhota in the same XI? They're all great. Dropping Pele? Hardly noticed Pele in this half apart from one cracking cross field ball, maybe its because he is just quietly going about his job and keeping it simple. More of the same in the second half plea...

Re: Rumour - Ovie Ejaria

Generally speaking, when you compare players, it makes sense to compare like for like in role for team. Neither Loader nor Barrett are really midfielders, both are more forwards, at least how they play for the first team. If we sign Ejaria it's not going to be to compete with Barrett and Loader IMO...

Burger stall outside the ED stand ran out during half time. Saw Jackie Evans from the club there looking less than impressed. Let’s just hope it was first day teething problems.

Bonus for the vegan outfit next door, they were doing a roaring trade.

Re: **WANTED** Royal Ascot - Village enclosure - SATURDAY 22nd June

Dick Habbin's hairdo Village enclosure is sold out for Saturday 22nd, so I'm wondering if any Nobbers have a couple of spares?

There is a pair on gumtree for pretty much face value plus handling charge, posted yesterday.

TiagoIlori Played really well today, seems completely different to how he was at first. Definitely showing signs of a player worth keeping around

My thoughts exactly. I said to my mate he is playing like he believes he belongs in the team.

How not to win support for your cause

l feel Danny Rose has done the “Kick it out” campaign no favours with his comment about the fine dished out to Montenegro (20,000 Euro).

“When countries get fined on what l probably spend on a night out in London what do you expect?”

Just how divorced from reality are these overpaid prima donnas?
