Re: Scottish premier league.

Do Celtic fans also have affinity with or a soft spot for Hibs, or is that seen as a rivalry for the same kinds of fans? (or nothing at all and I don't understand Scotch football!) Proddies v Cathodes innit Celtic & Hibs have religious connection of sorts (historically) I thought they were both...

Re: VAR

Well, anecdotally per Stranded, it's not perfect in the Bundesliga but works much better. I don't recall VAR making many headlines in La Liga, save for a couple of times when it dared to rule against Real Madrid. The 'problem' with the technology isn't really about the tech itself, in my view. It's...

If we can use it relatively successfully in every other major league, then binning it is a huge backwards step. depends what you class successful as tbh Well, anecdotally per Stranded, it's not perfect in the Bundesliga but works much better. Re: Generic clubs in financial crisis Thread

Is there a points sanction for entering administration while in the PL? If so I presume Everton fans will have more "unfairness" to whine about next season. Wasn’t there some rumour that Everton were going to try going into administration now to avoid the points deduction next season beca...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Let's see shall we but it would be good to have it all sorted well before the start of next season which is just over a couple of months away-that is why the "months" concerned me. Yes Stranded there has been a lot going on between us and the EFL but not for the right reasons so let's hop...

Re: Embargos, HMRC Payment defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

windermereROYAL So fine the club and punish NH immediately but give the agent 6 months grace, that sounds fair.

Be interesting to challenge the agent’s deal through the courts.
If it’s an illegal term it has the potential to be voided
Problem is, though, is it against FA rules or contrary to law ?

By the way, you mentioned that you needed to win 27-0 to go above Newcastle

Two things …
1. shirley, it could only have been 14-0
2. What happened ?

Re: FA Cup Final (Poll)

Much as I don’t like the idea of one team dominating too much (see Liverpool in the 80’s, United in the 90’s & 00’s), I can’t bring myself to want United to win anything

So, obviously, Ian Royal

BRO_BOT We just need Brighton to beat Chelsea and then if we can beat Newcastle 27-0 we're sorted 8) #MUFC

Have United scored 27 this calendar year ?
And that’s a genuine question

Re: Weekend Football

Royality creeps In Spurs "fans" are an embarrassing disgrace. Of course we knew that anyway.
Feel sorry for Ange having to put up with that lot.

I guess the truth is that they knew (or had a really good guess) that they were going to lose anyway.
Reacting as they did minimises the pain just a little

Re: Is Pep a genius?

I think Pep is a motivational genius, yes. It is the old chestnut with him, I want to see him at a mediocre club with a tight budget. Everything he has ever had has been handed to him on a plate. Not his fault of course but he has had it easy. I don't buy this. When Barca appointment him they were ...

planned on putting money on Man City scoring a hatfull against West Ham but the odds are terrible. To score 4 or more they are only evens and 5 or more is 9/4 Looks like they also expect West Ham to take something of a walloping What are the odds on West Ham winning? I might have a punt. Re: Weekend Football

Fair play to Postecoglou for calling the Spurs (and the fans) for being Spursy. Wonder if he's seen enough this season to think about jumping ship. I know it isn't much of an improvement but I wonder if United might have a look at Ange. He's the right sort of personality for them and at least they ...

Re: Weekend Football

Most Arsenal fans have some memory of success so I'm not convinced they'd be quite as small time as the Spurs fans were I thought that, finishing apart, Spurs played pretty well and gave as good as they got. Fine margins and all that, but Ortega ultimately proved to be the difference. (who knows if...

Winston Biscuit reckon West Ham might let in a truly astounding number of goals on the final day

Was discussing exactly that with a Liverpool fan tonight
He thinks that a draw tomorrow would still give City more than a fighting chance

Ascotexgunner ETH is a very graceful character in defeat. Like to think he will get more time. Seems like a decent bloke.

That’s really not fair on the bloke, subjecting him to a longer sentence
