Re: QPR (H) Match Thread - Sponsored by Colin

Sack him now and he most likely walks into the Fulham job with a wedge in his back pocket and a smile on his face. We won't see the back of Clarke until someone else is in place at Fulham or we have a decent replacement lined up at least...no time soon then !

Re: Wholesale changes in defence??

Clarke seemed to be playing more and more attacking players each week. Fulham will be a bit of a reality check. Exactly, a reality check for Clarke and the players. I think they all got bit too cocky especially after going 2 up, thought Fulham would never score and we would get a few more no doubt....

Re: Clarke to sunderland?

I was thinking about this earlier today, not Sunderland tapping him up but Clarke attracting attention from other clubs and I came to the conclusion that SC is making Reading his home. The owners have allowed him to manage, he knows that if he's in a good position come January he'll be backed again...

Re: Reading FC - this is embarrasing

If ever there was an own goal to be embarrassed about this is it. Which is a real shame, they are obviously trying really hard but clearly are not in touch yet with English football culture. That said, they are shrewd and clever business people, clearly seen with the current setup of our team . If w...

Re: Back from the sofa - Ipswich (H)

Last night we were a completely different team to what we have seen previously. It seems we built from the back then added decent attacking options and introduction Vydra was the catalyst to surge forwards with devastating effect. The entire team moved up a level, passing was accurate and at speed, ...

Norfolk Royal Why are you idiots buying fizzy drinks? They're so bad for you it's incredible.

Apparently cola is good for your digestion... you'll lose your teeth but it helps you digest the food you can't chew anymore.
And at one time didn't Lucozde promote itself as an "Aids recovery" drink ?

HRK - Lost it ?

Just reading HRK's Twitter account... appears he's lost his rag and definately wants away from Reading with words like "What a wonderful cross, I could watch this all day. See Reading fans, this is why I'm too good for you. " & Steve: "HRK Go away" HRK: "With pleasure, n...

Re: Who do we consider our rivals?

Personally I consider our rivals to be the other 23 teams in the league. Does school start again soon? What a weird reply. I'd add Leeds slightly, the kicking they've given our players (Karacan) adds a bit of spice. But yeah, shame we have no major rivalry these days. Fulham and Brentford are relat...

WTF !!!... 'African Violet' !!... what next 'Papa New Guinea Pink' or 'New Zealand Orange' !!! Lets just put a country name in front of everything to make it more palatable somehow. It's garish and embarrassing, the ridicule we will face in away games will be ' Madagascan unbearable'

Depends how many free professional players are left who won't demand a reasonable wage or expect a long term contract.

Re: Worst home support in the league ?

I don't put any blame on the home support for the last two home games... Tuesday night in February is not the most convenient time for many. However I would have a word in ear of the people responsible for state of the pitch... it was bad against Leeds and very bad against Wigan. Away performances a...

Re: Back From The Game - Wigan

Considering the wages they receive to deliver up that load of crap, they can pay me the expenses and ticket price I incurred to endure it. They should be ashamed, just as I am for supporting a team when they play like that !
