Re: What about crap games you're proud you went to

Does driving all the way to Luton with a car full of mates only to find the game was cancelled fall into the catergory of crap games?

On paper, Reading v Torquay in Division 3 in 1992 had shite written all over it, but we romped it 6-1! Enjoyed that one!

Lol! Calm down fella. I don't watch any U.S Team sports. Proof if needed that having a few thousand posts after your name doesn't change the fact you're a Dick.

Re: Nigel Adkins' cheesy message for Reading supporters

Nothing wrong with this at all. Cr*p thread trying to make a story out of nothing. Amazing how plastics are trying already to undermine NA. I hope he reads this and realises that in every club there is a small group of individuals who to talk the club down or simply take the p**s. :| Tbf to Maffff,...

Great move for RFC, don't understand some fans problem. Obviously it's a short term fix, but it's a Marquee signing at this level. I think it's going to be a fun summer!

Glad he's found himself a club where he gets regular football. One of the nicest guys in the game and a 'Model Pro' to echo previous comments.

Re: McCarthy to Liverpool

[quote="bennno"]Think McCarthy is our best keeper at the moment, however if big money offer comes in it will test the commitment of the new Owner and his desire to play rather than warm the bench elsewhere. That's the key issue. Is he more motivated by money than playing regularly? He's go...

Re: Pogs Future

His performance away at Chelsea earlier in the season was class. If he reproduced that more often he'd easily bang in 20+ goals next year. Great goal too. He's better than most other Championship strikers. It could be worse, we could have Darius Henderson back..? "Darius Henderson, he's worth ...

Re: Back from the game - Fulham Away

I'm guessing all this negativity is coming from those who weren't there. It was a cracking day out and the best football we've played for a long long time. Fulham still have something to play for (not safe yet and still got Liverpool and Swansea) and we outplayed them. Great to see our intensity an...

Re: John Madejski 'would have kept' Brian McDermott at Readi

I wouldn't be shocked if SJM continued to be involved with the club for years to come. I know he's done a lot for our club, but at the same time, without Reading FC, he wouldn't be where he is today.

Difficult one this. I went for Mapps and it seems like a lot think along the same lines. There won't be many who emerge from this season with a lot of credit.

Re: On a positive note - Uche Ikpeazu

I have always wondered you know why we sometimes don't throw some of the really good quality players in at a younger age, maybe we just don't want to take the risk and upset their development, but then you look at the likes of Owen, Fowler, Fergie's babes at Man Utd and you think if they're good th...

That was a great strike. Maybe when we're mathmatically down, Nige will give some of the younger players a look in. Uche certainly looks a talent.

Re: What's the story with ALF & Adkins?

Apparently Adkins has seduced ALF's Northern soon-to-be missus in the week he has been at the club. ALF confronted the bespectacled manager who told him, "I'm the bleedin' gaffer, I can pork who I want!" ALF was understandably livid, not just at Adkins' choice of expression, but said he w...
