Re: Rival Watch

Tbf £6400 is quite a bit. That is probably about 12 years of season tickets + plus the club gets it all in a lump sum. Smart. Sounds like FFP circumnavigation. From an accounting view, there is no way they should be recognizing the full £6400 in year 1, but I bet they find a way. Surely though it w...

Re: Rival Watch

Hats off to them for trying something new and different. It's kind of a long term investment I guess. It's a massive risk though if they don't manage to achieve promotion in the near future IMO because from what I can gather, the deal starts from next season So if it takes them 25 years to get prom...

URZZZZ Cardiff it is

Wonder who we played in the 4th round when we last got to Wembley in this competition

After last night I am thinking that Reading Under 23's can go all the way to Wembley. :D

We couldn't even manage that in the Checkatrade trophy

Re: BFTG blackpool

Just to annoy the Boye fans and not very seriously... Goal: shit defending, lucky poke with poor keeping. 1st woodwork: lucky touch with weak defending, poor defending, over complicated, should score, misses target. 2nd woodwork: lucky interception from terrible defensive pass, must score - doesn't...

Think Puscas could cause Cooper a few problems, can even swap him and Baldock around throughout the game to cause a bit of confusion. Meite hasn't done enough for me recently, I'd rest him for this one. Rafael Gunter Miazga Moore Blackett Pele Adam Swift Baldock Puscas Ejaria (free role) What’s Mor...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackpool (a) sponsored by Dylan Kerr

Who's too good to have played a minute in our FA Cup side to have managed to score? Hint, they top scored last season and have 4 more goals than your chum's 0 in the League. Yet contributed the exact same level of points Hint, it's less than one  LOL @ Measuring individual performance ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Eamon Dunphy

Nothing at all, I am thinking more about Miazga going man for man on Cooper for set pieces. Smith is even bigger than Cooper if he starts, I guess Moore will have to pick him up Imperative the fullbacks cut the crosses out Potentially dropping Moore for Saturday then? Height isn't his strong suit. ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackpool (a) sponsored by Dylan Kerr

On the Shane Long thing, I'm not sure he cares as much about us as we care about him. When I met him and mentioned I am a Reading fan he just said "yeah?". Of course he might have just not been interested in me.. Considering the majority of time he was here, he was ridiculed, I’m not surp...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Eamon Dunphy

Would play Puscas in this one, Baldock on the wing. Agree, Ejaria is wasted on the left and Baldock doesn’t have enough to play as a lone striker. Adam has proven himself to be a viable option but let’s play everyone in their best positions. Could also try Obita on the left but think that’s harsh o...

Re: BFTG - Forest

My life some of the lads trying to get to the Forest fans over the blue banner is laughable. Just what is the fascination with charging to the away fans? Can understand giving a bit back to them but get a life! Thought C1871 ethos was not to goad opposition fans and focus on our club?! Maybe this i...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackpool (a) sponsored by Dylan Kerr

With all this striker talk, why not go back to playing Baldock in behind Puscas? Seemed to work before. If we’re now saying 1 up top is the way to go, and Puscas can’t do that (which I personally don’t believe), we might as well cash in while his stock is high. Only a few games ago we were lamentin...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackpool (a) sponsored by Dylan Kerr

Given the stuff in the highlights happened after my one comment about him, it's not really relevant. He needs to do a lot more to impress me. As I've shown with Swift and Gunter, if he plays well and delivers I'll happily back him. Still think he's wasted minutes someone else could better use on th...
