Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

I'm still bitter about Tanner, Dickie, Hyam, Novakovich and Stacey. We do alright, but we could do a lot better given the potentials we've had. We bring in an awful lot of mediocre squad fillers when we could give Academy lads 5-10 appearances instead. And I would personally put Cooper, Kelly, McCa...

from SSN. We're prob best letting him go tbh: Manchester United are one of several Premier League clubs considering a bid for Reading’s talented young striker, Danny Loader. The 20-year-old is out of contract this summer and talks on a new deal have stalled. The former England youth international, ...

Especially in the summer where we sold our best academy prospect to Feyenoord

I object to the word sold.

Re: Richards Obita or Blackett ?

Virginia?  Obvs loan and actually (bizarrely) highly rated. :? From what I can tell he is one of the highest rated young keepers in the new FM game. The only ones in England I have found to better his potential so far are Dewhurst, Bazunu, Henderson, Muric, Dahlberg, Ramsdale and Woodm...

Bodin > everybody. **** me I can’t remember when we had so much choice for LB Remember when we had to sign some random LB on a free because we had nobody? Anyone remember his name? I think it was the same season we played Kelly at LB. Unfortunately there’s more than one person you could be referrin...

Nah, he played right back.

Oh. Then I go Obita, Richards, Blackett.

I can play either full back position or DM actually.

Badly in all.

But you have fun while doing so right? Thats what is important.

Re: Liam Moore Interview Part 2

We need wing options. No guarantee McCleary will stay fit and Meite is pretty prone to injury. We would have paid his loan fee and we can give him back at the end of it, doesn't lose us anything by keeping him around. McCleary, Meite, Obita and Barrett? Hell at a push Baldock is a decent LW. I unde...

Re: Liam Moore Interview Part 2

Whilst I see your point, anything can happen in football. If Puscas and Baldock go on a bad run, pick up bad injuries etc, that creates opportunities for the likes of Boye, Loader and Meite. Whilst I think six players for two positions is slightly too much, there may be an opportunity for Boye in t...

Re: Liam Moore Interview Part 2

Too early to judge Boye. It takes a while to adjust to this league and I am not sure he ahs ever been 100% fit. It's not even about his talent. We dont need him. Every position he covers is already covered. We need a CM if anything. Whilst I see your point, anything can happen in football. If Pusca...

Re: Liam Moore Interview Part 2

I certainly haven't turned on Meite, but I'm not sure how involved he will be. He should be an excellent option off the bench, but we all know he is far better on a run of games. When Joao and Boye come back, I'd rather see them ahead of him coming off the bench. Puscas and Baldock have the startin...

Re: Liam Moore Interview Part 2

Wasn't it just 1 person saying that? Think Meite has the support of 99% of the fanbase from what I have seen. Saw a few bits on twitter and there has been a few on here who have long held the belief. Happy to be corrected! I can't see how anyone could really be against him, he's at worst an excelle...
