Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (a)

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (h)

Anyone else notice Hoillett was much better playing on the left? I mean, I know it's obvious he's better in his natural position but we also looked better with him there. Once we have a CB and can move Yiadom out right it's a much more functional team. I wouldn't be averse to starting Ovie there and...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (h)
and there were defenders close
Yes, the one hanging off his shirt was very close.

Close but ince would clearly be first to the ball with an open goal ahead

The angle wasn’t acute either. A very good goalscoring opportunit...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (h)

Sounded out a qualified up and coming ref I know. Who, according to people who've played in games he's reffed, is good. He says to be a clear goalscoring opportunity it has to be clear on 4 criteria at the time of the offence, along with no attempt to play the ball No attempt to play the ball - tic...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (h)

AthleticoSpizz Good to see that Lumley has settled in so well, decent command of his territory…..memories of Marcus

He looked pretty good didn't he? Confident and composed.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (h)

Will be interesting to see that one again. Looked in real time like Hendrick was waiting for the ball to drop, swung and as he did Rino went diving in head first. Still a duty on the player not to endanger another player so probably right to be a free kick. The incident right at the end where a Car...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (h)

windermereROYAL Referee saying Ince took the ball too wide for the pen to award a red card, it was a tap in you fucking clown.

It's very funny that. When Yiadom was chatting to him he gestured as if to say "he was moving away from goal". Awful decision. Even Cardiff fans are saying that.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (h)

Rino - well can see one of the reasons why our midfield was so dominated in his time here. Headless chicken. Better off without. Are you talking about when Hendrick tried to kick his head off his shoulders? Will be interesting to see that one again. Looked in real time like Hendrick was waiting for...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (h)

Snowflake Royal Also, Abrefa for the most part showing his value, Ehib showing some nice feet too.

They're good enough for these cameos at the very least.

Maybe you were right about Ince as a 10.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackpool (a)

No but his decision making might be a bit better than the others. Ejaria overhit a couple of passes in decent areas or made the wrong decision and Hendrick had one in the first half where he slipped Meite through, when I thought the better choice would have been to take a shot on from 20 (or so) ya...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackpool (a)

Feel like it's not a game without at least some ratings. Lumley - 7 no worrying moments, lucky with one off the post and a good save followed by I thought he could maybe do better with the goal. Claimed crosses well. Yiadom - 8 led really well and once released in the second half helped us get forw...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackpool (a)

I fancy Ince as 10. Driving runs, pace, technique. He's got what it takes imo. Hmmmm can Ince make that clever, incisive pass to split open a defence? No but his decision making might be a bit better than the others. Ejaria overhit a couple of passes in decent areas or made the wrong decision and H...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackpool (a)

I mean, I just trashed him but Ejaria is a 10.. Hendrick is too at heart. Where is Tetek?? Tetek appears to be injured again. Agree Ovie is a ten but we need another. Not convinced Hendrick is. I fancy Ince as 10. Driving runs, pace, technique. He's got what it takes imo. You think? Unless I am mis...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackpool (a)

Interesting comments. I really hope we get another left back in as I don’t think Guinness-Walker is close to good enough on the defensive side of his game. We also need another ten. We haven’t replaced Swift. I do think we will be a fitter side this season but one that struggles to create. I mean, ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackpool (a)

Just got back from the game, disappointing all around really. Not enough up front and our midfield was being bypassed yet again in the opening half. NGW struggled up against Bowler all afternoon who caused him issues and we didn't start quickly enough, poor goal to give away as well really. There's...
