Re: Back From The Game - Derby

Very good performance across the board tonight. Played some nice stuff on the floor and showed some class, particularly from tabb and little. Could have let disappointment of disallowed goals effect us but came out after break very positive and fully deserved the win. Even shunt was up for it when h...

Re: Three wins and we could still go up

Astoundingly with Sheffield losing tonight the jar is still a tiny bit open for automatic promotion. We need to win all three and have a few results go our way but stranger things have happened. I know I will get the usual abuse for posting this but I for one will not lose hope til it is mathematic...

Re: Derby (A) Predictions

I have an un explainable good feeling about today. 2 - 0 Reading N Hunt S Hunt :o So much rest on this result. Defeat tonight and I think that will be it for us.... I am also unexplainably optimistic today. 4-0 Reading with goals from Kitson (2) and Matejovsky (2) Due to injuries up front, SSC will...

Fook off you newbie!

Why do you have to be such an offensive plonker MVP? We should be encouraging newbies not insulting them.

Cheer up Royals Fans

Things are not so bad after all. Here's why: - We are still odds on to get promoted with the bookies (Paddy Power 10/11) - Promotion is still completely in our own hands - If Brum do not beat Wolves tonight then a draw will be sufficient against Sheff Utd (i.e. it will still be in our hands after th...

Royalee
JR ssc is doing a better job this year than anyone else could.
In your completely unfounded opinion.
This board is all about unfounded opinions! At least it was a positive opinion which is better than your persistently negative drivel

Re: Official Coventry Match Thread

you lot need to start enjoying the fact that we are involved in a promotion battle that is going to the wire. Start appreciating the fact that reading is one of the best run clubs in the country and that ssc is doing a better job this year than anyone else could. Yes we are not playing well, but it ...

Re: Hunt should never take a penalty again

i am sure the whole team has practised penalties and hunt must be the best as he has been given the task of taking our penalties. coppell has a lot of common sense and would want to have tested who the best penalty taker in the squad is i think doyle could also do the job very well as he has done i...

Re: Hunt should never take a penalty again

bottom left hand corner We can't score a penalty or save a penalty!

Get penalties out or together

I completely agree. USA is pathetic at saving penalties. Goalkeepers should see it as a chance for glory, but for some reason he is useless and manages to make himself look tiny. The current squad will never win a shoot-out.

Hunt should never take a penalty again

Stephen Hunt consciously makes the decision to give the goalkeeper at least a 50% chance of saving every penalty he takes. All his penalties are placed at the perfect height for the keeper and at a lame pace that means the keeper will save it if he guesses the right way. I find it unacceptable that ...

Re: Back from the game.....

I suppose I should post this here: Ref had a shocker and appeared to book Shorey for doing the pff training ground throw into the back of your own player and then cross in routine that Utd have been known to do. Quite why the ref thought that was a foul and why it deserved a booking is a mystery. V...

Re: Back from the game.....

The plus points: Hahnahahmaneman didn't flap... Much, and one sharp save. Bikey immense. Errr, that's about it. Oh, we got a point. The negatives; as much as I hate to say it Harps was "rubbish" and Hunty worse - almost as bad as Nani for the Munichs. Fulham got 3 points. Again. Overall, ...

At the start of the season I bet £10 each way for Doyle top scorer at 200/1. So if he finishes top 4 = £500, wins it = £2,500. Are you sure you have your maths right? If its top 4 and 1/4 the odds then yes: £10 @ 200/1 to win = £2,000 £10 @ 200/1/4 for 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th = £10 @ 50/1 - £5...

Royalty points suddently shot up?

I have just checked my royalty points for myself and 2 friends and our points have increased by approximately 100 each. While this is mighty nice of the club (or alternatively just administrative chaos), it is made me furious as I waited to get tickets for Liverpool away until the 461 + today, when ...

I personally believe that regular away supporters do not get rewarded enough, as you only recieve a paltry 2 points. Villa allocate their tickets based on the number of away games attended by the supporter last season, e.g. first band is anyone over 6, next band is over 4 and so on. This is a bette...

My concern is that this kit reduced are chances of survival for next season for the following 3 reasons: 1) The players are used to wearing last year's kit and associating it with victory 2) Last season's kit had a collar which (IMHO) is much more comfortable to wear so leads to a slightly higher pe...
